If I Can't Be With You (A Rydellington Love Story)

Chapter 28: Giving In&Argumemts

Ellington POV

There was silence after I said that. I knew Rydel was silently agreeing. So I sit on the couch and she does also on the other end. We stare at each other. Our feet were touching.

"My heart is set on you. I don't want to be with anyone else." Rydel sings quietly. I stare at her.

Everything was intense in the air. I didn't like it.

So I nudged her foot with mine. She looks at me. Slowly, I lean in and she does also. Our noses were touching and our lips were centimeters from each other.

The door bursts open making Rydel jump away from me. My mom and dad were back. Mom walks in the living room to see us both. "Oh was I interrupting something?"

"Yes.""No." Rydel and I both say different answers. We look at each other and she rises her eye brow at me.

This break was not going to last more then ten minutes.

I stand and she does too. We both go to my room and shut the door. Rydel kisses me and I kiss her back and she jumps and wraps her legs around me making me fall back onto the bed.

We were making out intensely when she finally spoke.

"This was stupid. We can't even be mad at each other for ten minutes!" She giggles. I smile and move the hair from her face. "I hate you." She teases sticking her tongue out.

"Well I hate you too." I put my hands on her cheeks and push them in making her get a fishy face. "Fishy fishy fishy kiss kiss." I tease her and she moves my hands away from her.

"We are on a break. Not going to happen again unless... I say so." Rydel says quietly making me look down.

We both went and started doing our thing. I was looking in my closet so I looked busy. Rydel was on her phone.

It was like this for a few hours until the evening.

"I'm going to stay with my brothers." Rydel says quietly. I nod. "So.. Rosie is going to stay with me tonight."

"Wait! No no no she is going to be with me tonight." I say quietly. Oh great here we go again.

"She's already with Rocky!" Rydel exclaims getting off the bed with her phone. I turn to her.

"I'm driving you there."

"I don't need you to drive me there!"

"Actually you don't have your car.." I point out. Her face turns red and she bites her tongue.

I win.

Rydel slams the car door as I pull into the Lynchs'. I get out and follow closely behind like a lost puppy on the way to the door. She bursts through the door and a smile spreads across my face as I heard Rosie's cheerful laugh travel through the echoes of the house.

Rosie bursts through the hall and smiles when she sees us. She runs up and hugs both of us. "Mommy daddy!" She cheerfully says.

Rydel bends down to her height. "Rosie Posey mommy is gonna stay with uncles. Do you wanna stay with me," Rosie smiles listening,"or you can stay with daddy."

Ross POV

Riker, Rocky, Ryland, Alexa, Savannah, Maya'an, and I were waiting for Rosie to come back since we didn't run after her playing tag. I look at Maya'an who is patiently waiting beautifully talking to Alexa and Savannah.

Suddenly, we heard yelling. Right away, I knew who the voices were. Rydel and Ellington.

I walk through the hall to see Rydel and Ellington yelling their lungs out at each other. I think about Rosie. Rosie sat on the floor looking to each of them as they kept yelling. I run and get in the middle of them.

"BOTH OF YOU STOP!" I yell really loud surprising myself. Everybody else came into the room wide eyed and bushy tailed. "What is wrong?" I ask more quietly.

"I WANT TO KEEP ROSIE FOR THE NIGHT!" Rydellington both scream. They're fighting.

They do not want to be around each other. This is not good. I look over to Rocky who looks like he is fixing to freak out. Rosie stands up.

"Mommy and daddy stop! Rocky will make it all better with his magic powers! He promised me he would!" Rosie says happily.

We all look to Rocky with curiosity.
