Chapter 21: Text&Tell

Rydel POV

"Ellington! Ellington! Wake up!" I poke him. He doesn't move. I think then I push him off the bed. He opens his eyes and sits up so confused. "I LIKE READING-"

"SOME BOOKS!" Ellington yells laughing. I throw my pillow at him. "I'm guessing you want breakfast?" I shake my head. He thinks. "OH MY GOD!" He yells.

"OH MY GOD!" I yell back. He gets up and pulls me out of bed and we run to Rosie's room. He gets a bucket of confetti and throws it up onto Rosie making her wake up.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU YOU LIVE IN A ZOO. YOU LOOK LIKE A PRINCESS AND YOU ACT LIKE ONE TOO!" Ellington sings loudly making me laugh. Rosie just stares confused. "OOOOHHH HAPPY HAPPY BDAY ITS GONNA BE A GOOD DAY HOORAY HOORAY FOR ALL OF US TODAY!"

Suddenly, we hear someone running upstairs. Rocky runs in with a party hat and birthday pancakes? How did he get in? Well... Was he cooking in our house?

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROSIE!" Rocky yells and Rosie jumps out do bed and hugs him. Ellington looks at me and I shrug. He walks over and kisses my cheek.

"Bedroom. Now." He whispers in my ear smirking. I widen my eyes and picks me up bridal style and goes back in the bedroom. He puts me down and then shuts the door and locks it. "Rydel Mary Ratliff how are you so beautiful at... 6 in the morning?" He says taking a glimpse at the clock. I smile and blush.

"I have something sweet every day." I say smiling. He smiles widely. "You handsome." I say grabbing him and kissing him.

He picks me up and goes and drops me down on the bed and smirks at me. I smirk back.

"When You're ready come and get it." I smile.

Rocky POV

"Rocky your magic works! Mommy and daddy haven't been mad at each other!" Rosie says while I cut up her pancakes. I smile and keep cutting. "I'm surprised you really got here early like you said!"

"It's all because of you." I finish cutting the pancakes. "Nutella?" She shakes her head. "Peanut Butter?" Again she said no. "Just syrup?" She nods.

Rydel and Ellington come down the stairs. Both of them looked like really bad bed heads. Well worse than when I saw them the first time.

We all sat and ate. Well I ate cereal. Rydel and Ellington ate toast. The door opens and Ryland with Ross helping him carrying the DJ equipment. Riker follows behind with presents. I get a text from Lexa in a group conversation.

Alexa: Coming right now!

Savannah: Brandon and I can't come. Sorry!

Rydel: Its okay

Ryland: You guys gonna miss cake.

Alexa: ITS NOT ABOUT THE CAKE!

Pretty soon the conversation went dead. Everybody started to arrive and Rosie got spoiled.

ELLINGTON POV

I was watching people talk and Rydel socializing like always. Alexa tapped on my shoulder. I look at her and she gestures towards the closet. I stare.

"I need to talk to you." She whispers. I nod and we go in the closet and shut the door. She looks nervous.

"Are we talking about Rocky or what?" I say. She smiles when I mention Rocky.

"No.... Ellington..... I am going to text you. I can't bare to say it out loud." She says making me nervous. She types really quickly. Soon my phone got a beep. But it wasn't with me. I looked in my pocket and it wasn't there.

Where was it?

Riker POV

I was sitting on the couch and the phone next to me beeped. I picked it up and looked at it. I'm guessing its Rydel's because the wallpaper is Rosie and her dressed up as princesses. I opened it.

It went to messages and said- OH MY GOD. I jumped up and went to Rocky.

"Dude can I ask you something?" I ask. He nods. "Have you and Lex done... It?" His eyes widen and shakes his head.

"Why are you asking?" I showed him the text and he almost fainted.

Alexa was pregnant.
