Chapter 15: Reunions and Regrets

Rydel POV

"Derek! Julianne!" I say excitedly and hug my cousins. Suddenly I got a brilliant idea. "What about dinner tonight with my family?" I ask. They smile in agreement with my idea. I felt really smart.

I got a text from Savannah: Sorry I had to go I feel sick. Had fun shopping. Xo, Sav. I smile and drive home to Ellington sleeping like a bee.

I text everybody letting them know that I'm cooking dinner tonight. Riker automactically comes to my house and knocks. I open the door and he's holding some beer packages. "It's a special occasion so... I brought these bad boys." He says and we both laugh. He puts them in the kitchen and I fix the dinner.

Soon everybody shows up except Derek and Julianne. My mom brought Rosie back and she smiles and eats Mac And Cheese. Rocky smiles proudly. "I taught her well." He says and I roll my eyes playfully and look over to see Ellington and Riker saying cheers drinking. I smile and walk over.

"Hello boys." I say and Riker smiles. Ellington just keeps drinking and I try to take the bottle then he grips tighter on the bottle. I pull slightly more then he lets go and I fall back into the glass cabinet. I cry and sit on the floor with glass shattered around me.

Right away, ,my brothers helped me up. Then Riker turned around and threw himself onto Ellington. Right away I had a flashback to where he found out that Ellington and I were dating. Except this time, I didn't stop him.

"YOU HURT MY SISTER!" He yelled into Ellington's face. He punched him right in the nose. Rosie's eyes were wide watching. Ellington then pushed Riker off of him and kicked him. Then... I stopped Riker and Ellington by getting between them.

That was a mistake.

Ellington threw a punch and ended up hitting my cheek. I look to Ellington to see pure hurt in his face of what he just did. I pull him by his shirt collar into the bathroom and shut the door and locked it.

"YOU PROMISED!" I yell. He opens his mouth but I don't let him start talking. "YOU DRANK A LOT. YOU BROKE A PROMISE. YOU HURT... Me." I said finally bursting into tears.

"Rydel.... I didn't mean to-"

"YES YOU DID YOU CHOSE TO!" I yell then I push him against the wall. "SHUT UP. DONT TALK. JUST LOOK ME IN THE EYES AND SAY.... NOTHING!" I yell louder crying. He looks at me then kisses me. I push him away crying. Finally, I open the door and get my coat.

"I can't believe I trusted you on that promise." I say to Ellington then I walk out of my house.

Riker, Ross, and Rocky followed me. With a million questions.

"What promise?"

"What were you yelling at Ell?"

"Why did he act like that?"

"Can I punch him?"

"GUYS STOP PLEASE!" I plea. They went silent. "Can I stay with you guys tonight?" I ask. I don't want to be around Ellington.

"Of course. You're our sister." Ross says. I smile and we all group hug.

"Rydel can we talk alone?" Riker asks. I nod. Ross and Rocky turn back and walk back to my house. Riker and I keep walking. He stops suddenly and looks at me nervously.

"I need to talk to you about that night that Ellington and I went to the bar and he didn't come back."

UGH SO SORRY. WATTPAD ACTED STUPID AND ERASED THE WHOLE CHAPTER! And it was soooooii long. (Longer than this!) I was so SAD!

Obviously I can't update on a schedule. So back to the way I used to do this.
