Chapter 16: Pretty Big Lies

Riker POV

"Well... Ellington went to the bar with me. You think he was way drunk back there... He was worse with me. I didn't drink that much so I was still pretty wide awake." I sigh telling Rydel. She focuses on every word I'm saying. "When we decided to leave, he was going to drive home himself but I knew better than to leave him driving drunk." I state.

There's three things you should never do while drunk. First, you should never eat a lot because there's a chance you'll throw it all up. Second, don't start flirting or any of that crap when you're drunk cause that'll probably end with that person in bed.

Third but MOST important: Don't ever EVER EVER EVER drive drunk. Or drink and drive. Daily advice from Riker complete. Which nobody is hearing this but me.

Rydel stares at me waiting for me to continue which I do. "He came home with me." I say and she nods.

"That's all?" She asks and I nod.

Which was a pretty big lie...

~FLASHBACK!!!!~

"How many have you had?" I ask Ellington which he looked so much like a airhead at that time. He smiles.

"Just like two." He says. I nod completely trusting him in his answer. How bad can he be when he drinks? He knows perfectly well how much he should drink, doesn't he?

I leave him alone and a girl walks up to me smiling. "Oh my! You're Riker Lynch! May I have a selfie with you?" I nod and take a selfie with her. Shes beautiful. "I'm Clarity." Clarity says and I smile.

"I'm Riker." I say and she smiles. We talked and danced for a few songs. I look over to see Ellington talking to a blonde girl that looked like Rydel. I knew it couldn't be her though.

I walk over to see what they were talking about. The girl smiles and outs her hand out. "I'm Alexa." She says and I shake her hand.

"Dude I'm fixing to go home." Ellington says and I nod. "So bye." He says walking out and Alexa follows. I shrug and go home.

When I get home it's like eleven. I'm so tired I go to Rocky and I's room and go straight to bed. It's like three hours later when I hear this noise coming from downstairs. I'm too tired to get up so I throw a pillow at Rocky waking him up. "What the he-" he starts to say then stops. "What's that sound?"

"I don't know that's why I woke you up to go check it out." I whine tired. He takes the pillow and throws it back at me then gets up.

"There might be a killer down there so you're sending your own brother by himself down the stairs. You're nice aren't you?" He says. Fine.. I hate getting up. We both walk down stairs and hear something.

We suddenly see a girl with blonde hair and Rocky screams like a girl and jumps in my arms. Seriously? Then the girl screams then it all turns into all of us screaming. "WHY IS THERE A RANDOM GIRL HERE?!" Rocky yells. Then Ross comes downstairs and he screams.

"STOP SCREAMING!" The girl yells and suddenly I realize who the girl is. It's Alexa.

"Why are you here?" I say dropping Rocky down on the floor. Alexa looks around. She looks horrible.

"I have no idea. Is this your house?" She asks and I nod. "I remember! Okay I was drowsy and Ellington and I came here to sleep and I slept with him." I think mine and Ross's eyes widened meanwhile Rocky looked like he was in lala land. Ross turned around slapped Rocky so he comes back into reality.

"So... Ellington is in the living room asleep?" Ross asks and she nods. Suddenly anger plunged into me and I just wanted to yell at Ellington. But I didn't. Well I did but not what I wanted to yell.

I walked into the living room and poked Ellington. He didn't wake up. I poked him again. Still no response. Finally I yelled "ELLINGTON THERES PANCAKES!" He wakes right up. Right away, I can tell he's so confused. "You're lucky you're one of my best friend. You can stay here. If you did go home right now Rydel would be curious of why you're just getting home." I say calmly as I can.

"Agreed. Thanks Riker. Why am I here?"

"You cheated on my sister. I won't hurt you but if you ever get drunk like this IM gonna hurt you." I say then go back to bed. Rocky took Alexa back home while Ross fell asleep on the living room floor.

~end of flashback~

"Riker are you coming?" Rydel yells and I nod and walk with her. We walk back and all of us get into my car and wait for Rydel with her bags. It took her forever then I realized she has Rosie too.

"Where's Rocky?" I ask Ross.

"He said he had to go somewhere I forgot." Ross says. I shrug and start the car. Rydel comes out with Rosie in her arms and her bags being carried by mom. We all help Delly put all her stuff in the car and Rydel sat in the passenger side while Ross was talking to Rosie about Frozen.

When we got back we opened the door and Rydel went straight to her room with her bags. Rosie followed her. Ross and I looked at each other then realized Rocky was in the kitchen eating Mac and Cheese.

Rydel comes back down stairs. "What's the plannio brothyos?" She asks and I look at Ross and he shrugs.

"Movie?" Rocky suggests eating Mac and Cheese. Rydel's eyes lit up.

"STAR WARS!" She yells and we all laugh in agreement.

Rocky puts in the movie while Rydel and Ross wait for me to get the popcorn. (Lazy bums!) The doorbell rings and Rocky runs and gets it. When I walk in the living room I paused where I was standing in shock.. And I guess I dropped the popcorn bowl at what I seen.

Rydel POV

The popcorn bowl shatters onto the ground and Ross is in shock. Rocky's just smiling at this pretty girl. Meanwhile, Riker is just dumbfounded. I don't know why he is. I get up and walk over and smile.

"Hi I'm Alexa!" The girl says which is Alexa. I smile and shake her hand.

"I don't know if Rocky told you but I'm his sister."

"Oh wow! You have 4 brothers and a sister!" She says surprised. Four? Riker, Ross, and Ryland. That's three.

"Actually three." I correct her.

"Oh. Well I just assumed since Riker let Ellington stay with all of them that he was a brother or something." What is she talking about? I guess I looked confused so she went on. "You know, when I accidentally got drunk and slept with him on accident over here."

I stood in shock. I didn't know what to do at this point. I turn and just go out the door trying not to cry.
