Fast exhales induces SulHee to check up on MinYoung.

She got up from her seat, rushing to the aid of the girl with a damp cold towel. She lightly dabs her forehead, specifically on the trailing sweat. SulHee lightly calls out to MinYoung and hopes for a response.

An uneven groan and undetectable sound came from the lass. Her eyes and brows were twitching quite rapidly. A stretched and weird noise was faintly coming out from her until it depleted into silence.

"MinYoung? What's wrong, dear?" SulHee coos the latter.

MinYoung shows no obvious signs of waking up. She resorts back to the deep slumber. SulHee makes a brief eye contact with Cassian, of whom looks even more blank than she was.

In a strange way, the pain was comforting. It was an odd thought. For years they've been on the move and MinYoung hasn't felt physical pain, until this had happened. The pain that was now subsiding on the side of her stomach induced her into a short slumber. She was soundly asleep, a sign that SulHee could relax for a bit.

"Cassian, can you grab me a new cloth?"

The lights flicker out and smoke travel in swirls around the room.

SulHee instantly gets on her feet, ushering Cassian to hover close to MinYoung. The boy does as he's told and the lass looks around. The boy is careful not to touch MinYoung and remains quite distant, although he stays close to the latter.

The room, which was ever so quiet and serene felt hostile to SulHee. It wasn't one of her safest place right now, at this critical moment. With the sudden change of the wind and the dark interior, SulHee was waiting for something to happen, anything.

The moonlight fairly illuminated their surroundings. She could properly glance at her surroundings fairly, the well-organised shelves that were always cleaned and dusted and filled with medicinal herbs and scripted books and her coat. Those were the only obvious objects she could see, provided with the help of a light.

As they somehow age further, their ability to see things in the dark improves. SulHee could manage to make out a few of her belongings, which was strange.

Usually, she can see things very well in the dark.

The pair wait for a change of air. SulHee intently listens to distant voices. Cassian covers both ears with his palms, afraid that something terrible may happen.

She wanted to check with Sehun and the other guards, but she can't leave Cassian and MinYoung alone. All she could do was wait in the hopes that someone may come to them.

When nothing caused the furniture to move, SulHee relaxes for a moment.

Yet the short moment to relax was taken as the air was knocked out from their lungs.

SulHee falls heavily onto the cold ground, her limbs and the need to breathe left paralysed. A strained groan and wheeze escapes the nurse, as she witnesses Cassian's body fall limp. The young boy wasn't making any movements or noise. She attempts to roll over, to scream, to teleport or to do something.

When she could not do anything, she momentarily gasped.

The bed creaks and a pair of thin legs come in view of SulHee's perception.

If she were to be human, she wouldn't doubt her heart would race and pound harshly against her ribs that she'd obviously feel it.

The legs step out of sight and SulHee could feel the distant beats of MinYoung's heart fading away. SulHee pushes herself to bite her tongue or cause a light injury to herself, hoping that the paralysis would be gone.
