I wasn't the type to fall at the feet of a guy, especially not for his looks. I didn't waste my time with crushes and boyfriends and all the dating apps people my age use these days. I didn't really see a point in spending my life looking so hard fo...

Lilith was gone.
I didn't think she was dead. I would know it. From a young age I was taught what the death of your mate felt like, and there's no way it was this.
I felt nothing. Almost as if I didn't even have a mate. I couldn't sense her, I couldn't feel her emotions, I couldn't even pick up her scent, but considering all of the things that happened last night I'm not surprised her scent was wiped away so quickly. But she was gone.
Last nights attack was the worst thing that my pack has ever endured in the last 60 years. There was always peace within my pack, and we had a fairly good relationship with the others around the world, but last night was a true act of terror on our people.
We have already reached out to other packs about our suspicions that it was Ezekiel's that had attacked, but none of the captured fighters were talking so we couldn't 100% confirm it. Because of that the other packs where hesitant on helping us.
"Okay honey. I know you're afraid but I need you to try your best to remember. What did the man who took Lilith look like?"
My baby cousin Eli sat curled on Daisy's lap. My mom sat directly In front of him holding his little hands in hers.
Eli was the last person to see her.
He was asleep in the next room when the attack began, and was taken from his room by a man with dark hair as he described, but that's all he could describe.
"I- I don't know. He was big and had dark hair." Eli cries out.
"Did he look old? Or young?" My mom asks in a softer tone.
"I don't know" he cries harder.
My mom sits back up in her seat, my dad resting his hand on her shoulder as she sighs in frustration.
It's not his fault, but god why did it have to be him to be the last person to see her?
I'm convinced it was Arturo who took her, but again we can't say for sure, and until we can we can't start a war on Ezekiel's pack without hard evidence.
"Let me talk to the captured" I say.
"No." Trevor immediately says.
I give him a death glare from where I was sat.
"You'll never get any information from them with your methods." I respond. Trying my best to keep my tone leveled but inside I was fuming.
"We're not Ezekiel's pack. We are not inhumane. We will get the info we need from there we just need to be patient."
"There isn't time for patience! I can't feel her! They could be removing our bond as we speak!" I yell as I stand to my feet.
My dad walks up to me quickly placing a firm hand on my shoulder.
