Chapter Seven

Hikaru's Pov

The rest of the day I ended up sleeping it away, I hadn't even realized it until I woke up the next day with Misako walking into my room. I blinked slowly and sat up as I looked over at her. "Misako? Is anything wrong?" I asked as I stood up, my stiff muscles aching as I did so. She smiled at me and shook her head. "No, but I have theories and questions that I'd like to run by with you. However..Wu had asked me to wait for another time, and tell you to simply meditate for now so maybe you could replenish your powers more even after resting." I raised an eyebrow at her but nodded as I walked over to my dresser and grabbed my ninja suit, waiting until she left to change. I had noticed upon waking up that I was in pajamas and hoped it was Cole or Sora who had changed me when I slept since I trust them the most in situations like that. Maybe Lloyd as well, but I rather trust my brother more with such because..that would be awkward in a way. If it wasn't them then I think I would rather go hide.

I sighed and shook my head as I walked out of my room, down the hallway and up onto the deck as I found a perfect spot. I smiled faintly as I sat down and crossed my legs along with closing my eyes and getting into position. But the moment I got fully into a meditating position, something felt odd. Everything felt as if it had shifted around me and I was light as a feather. I tried to open my eyes, but I couldn't, but it felt unusually cold around me. I frowned and tried to open my eyes again, and finally I was able to. I looked around to see myself on the beach? "Where...but I was just on the bounty." I spoke in confusion. There was nothing but ocean in front of me, but when I turned around, I couldn't help but gasp. There were woods behind me, but there was a woman who stared back at me with shock clearly written on her face.

"Miss..? Where are we? Can you help me?" I asked her, only for her to frown and step forward. "Goun senadette vec hyret. Goun nyta yut." I raised an eyebrow as I seemed to immediately understand it, but I was still confused on how. "What do you mean? I don't even know how I got here or where I am. Can't you show me the way out if you wish for me to go so badly?" I asked, causing her eyes to widen as she took a step towards me. That was when I managed to get a good look at her. Her hair was pitch black and her eyes were grey with hints of purple mixed in them. Wait was she who I thought she was? "Gou'nart...Hikaru?" She knew my name! "How do you know my name?" I asked her, causing her to frown. "Jom gouna monul." She explained, causing me to freeze in place. There was no way.

"You...you can't be! You're not actually here! This is just a hallucination!" I shouted as I held my head, shaking it as I stepped away from her. She frowned and stepped towards me. "Jom re shun oj aegeril veghoru goun. Gui..jo om gouna monul. Jogh deget veyuminxu kaquz, goun nyta yut mou." I shook my head and went to walk over to her, but it felt as if the ground was shaking. An earthquake? I opened my eyes once again and saw I was back on the bounty, frowning, I stood up and ran over to the railing, soon Misako and Sensei Wu walked out and nodded. We jumped off and descended onto the ground level- of course me using my powers so we could get down quicker. We ran inside Darreth's Dojo where the others were training with Lloyd to see the tv already talking about the earthquake.

"NGTV reporter Gayle Gossip on the scene of what appears to be an earthquake rocking the city of Ninjago. But it's an earthquake like no other as scientists have yet to pinpoint the cause. And more frightening still, the aftershocks are getting stronger." I frowned and looked to the others as my brother asked. "What do you think this could be?" Kai narrowed his eyes as he made a fist. "Wouldn't be surprised if it was Garmadon. We haven't seen him for a while." I went to open my mouth, but Misako beat me to it. "He would never. Lloyd's father is evil, but he would never do anything to put his son in harm's way." I wanted to believe her but...I didn't know what to think. Sensei nodded as he turned to us. "Misako is right. He only tried to thwart his training. This is something else."
