Chapter Eleven

Hikaru's Pov

It didn't seem like I was out for long as I soon found myself opening my eyes again to look at the others. They were conversing and Emara and Anna were even involved, but I had to assume they didn't say much about their powers. It wasn't long after that when we had found ourselves following the falcon again as we climbed up the mountain to the Temple of Light. Anna turned into a bird and flew up as Sora had me on his back and lifted us up along with Emara who held onto his hand to be sure she didn't fall. It was a bit crowded on the mech Nya made so we travelled like this instead. As we got down, Zane looked at his mechanical friend and frowned with an eyebrow raised. "You brought us back to the Temple of Light? I do not understand. We've already been here." We looked at him then to his falcon before Misako spoke up as she looked at one of her scrolls. "This location, I've seen this before. I just never understood it." We all took another glance before we followed her inside, it wasn't like it was going to hurt anybody.

Kai walked over to the area he had stood at earlier and cut down a web with a spider on it, revealing a hole in the wall, but thin enough for like a sword. I blinked slowly as I looked at him as he said. "I think I found something. It's just like the map." He said, turning to the hole and putting his sword in it. I raised an eyebrow as I watched, but noticed three more all around the room. "There's one more over there." Sensei Wu pointed out, Zane's father nodding as he pointed to another. "And here." Misako noticed the other one as she pointed to it. "And over here." We all stayed silent as the other three took out their own swords and walked up to each corner and inserted them, soon hearing a rumble.

"What is it?" Kai asked as the rest of us stepped away from where we stood, noticing as the plate under us had opened and revealed a mech of sorts. We all stood silent, except for Jay commenting on it being cool, while we waited for it to be on the same level as us. Misako smiled as she walked around it and to Lloyd. "It is the fighting suit the first Spinjitzu master used when he battled the Overlord." Cole seemed over-excited as he ran over and jumped into the seat. "You mean, the first Spinjitzu master once sat here? Haha! Get out of here! How do you make this thing work?" He kept looking around as Zane's father sighed sadly. "Sadly, I think time has done her in. She's only a relic now."

"If it worked for the first Spinjitzu master, perhaps it will work for the next Spinjitzu master?" Sensei Wu said as he walked up to it, soon turning to Lloyd who smiled and nodded. "It's worth a shot." I noticed him trying to walk over to it and jumped on it, but I frowned and used my powers to just lift him up to the top, him sending me a smile as he slipped in, just as Cole shouted. "Hey, watch out!" Just as he jumped off. We watched as Lloyd messed with the controls and nothing happened at first before it glowed golden and started coming to life. We all grinned and cheered as we soon found all of our ways back home just as the Ultra Dragon appeared. We all got on and flew back, only to see how much has changed.

We flew a safe distance away from something Sensei Wu identified as "Garmatron" and looked around Ninjago City, only to see the civilians in the same condition as Nya. I frowned as we saw this, I wanted to help, but I was useless, I barely had an ounce of my powers back since it was mostly focusing on healing my side completely. I mean it did heal after I took that nap earlier, but we had to unfreeze it in order for it to heal fully so even just moving now had slowed it down some, but I never spoke about it as we had much more to worry about.

It wasn't long that we heard a roar and looked up as Jay said. "Oh..my goodness. Oh, sweet mother may I." I frowned as I heard. "Look out Jay!" And instantly tried to redirect it, but since it was just a ball of smoke, I barely managed to do so. It wasn't a physical body I was trying to move, it was like trying to move air. We all leaned against the wall as Zane asked. "Is that the look you were hoping for?" Regarding their conversations moments ago. Jay turned to our nindroid friend and frowned behind his mask. "Zane-- No." Misako stepped forward. "The metamorphosis is complete. The Overlord's changed into his original form." This wasn't going to be good. We had decided that we needed to draw the Overlord's attention to us so Lloyd could get the upper hand and get to him, so we all got on top of the Ultra dragon and flew towards Garmatron. But halfway through, I couldn't help but notice something on fire behind the wall they had up. Oh no. Not a second later and we find out what it was.
