Chapter Twenty-Nine

So I will be updating a bit early as I won't be able to by Monday. I will be going to my friend's house to stay there for a few days and we're going to the movies <3

I haven't seen them in a good month or two because I work so much but finally 2-3 days off! Hopefully it stays that way...

Anyway! I can't update tomorrow (maybe I can, I don't know for sure) cause I work a 12 hour shift tomorrow and won't have enough time to write and post when I have a whole chapter to write! I know this is also a little shorter, but I will do my best to make the next one longer!

Also! We're almost done with Season 4! Tournament Of Elements! Soon we'll be heading to Season 5! Possession! And the final thoughts for that season is still in the making as I'm thinking about how Hikaru and Sora will be affected by it, but don't worry! We'll get there when we get there!

Hikaru's Pov

"...ru!!"

What?

"Hika..!!"

Were they calling me? Why did that voice sound familiar? Who were they? They sounded so far away...

"Wake up!! You have to wake up, Hikaru!!"

It felt as if I couldn't breathe. Like if I was drowning in an endless abyss. What was going on? Where was I?

"Hikaru, wake up!!"

I heard the voice directly in front of me and it was a struggle before I managed to open my eyes with a gasp. It was pitch black before it turned into a grey color. I struggled to catch my breathing which resulted in a coughing fit. It felt as if there was even water in my lungs, but there wasn't. I was nowhere near water. I looked around before my vision managed to focus and I saw my mother looking at me worriedly. The frown on her face made it obvious and how soft and caring her eyes were.

"Monul.? What's going on?" I asked her in confusion and she grabbed my wrists, pulling me into a tight hug. I was in complete shock now as I could feel something wet hit my shoulder. She's...crying. Why is she crying? I wrapped my arms tightly around her as I tried to calm her down- but I didn't know what was wrong or what caused her to tear up like this. "Clouse poisoned you. I don't know how he knew, but he did. The poison is lethal to certain creatures- some being dragons." She informed me, but that caused me to stare blankly in front of me. What? "You may not be one...but you do have dragon blood in you, thanks to that buijatex." She seethed. I frowned as she pulled away to look me in the eye. "That may be, but just remember it doesn't make you who you are. You are human. You just have special blood in you." The more she talked...the more I knew she was trailing away from the subject. Why was she changing the subject?
