Chapter Twenty-Six

Okay so I know in the show, Chen said "Master of Power" for Lloyd, but if I'm correct his elemental power is Energy, not Power. This is just a heads up for those who may get confused when they read that part, but I'm just merely changing it where he said "power" to "energy."

Hikaru's Pov

They had made sure to give everyone enough time for dinner so if everyone wanted to take their time eating or couldn't get their food at the same time as everyone else. I didn't really feel hungry, but I got some sushi and a small plate of noodles at least. Technically we all got something different and were splitting it between each other so all of us could get something of each without asking or trying to fill it all up on one plate. We were fine with this and that way if someone wanted to try something that the other had, we could just ask the other for some of that dish. We sometimes did this during school anyway, so we were used to it. The others were at their own table talking about who knows what, but Anna could hear it all perfectly clear and if there was anything we needed to know, she would tell us later anyway. She knew the drill and we knew she would help us communicate if needed. That or it was me that would communicate with them, such as with Lloyd tonight.

We didn't even agree on a time, but I guess we silently agreed on when curfew would be or around midnight. At least I had assumed that, but Anna told me while on the way to our rooms that they were meeting up at midnight and Lloyd even said something about having to do something before they met up. I was glad he didn't forget, with everything that had happened today.

I had found myself leaning on my room's balcony as I stared off at the ocean. I had noticed some of Chen's men walking around on guard, but they didn't seem to notice me one bit, so I was glad. I mean technically what would they do if they saw me out here anyway? They can't say I'm breaking a rule just for looking out at sea. I was brought out of my thoughts when I felt a familiar presence appear beside me. I turned to it and couldn't help but smile when I noticed it was Lloyd. He pulled his mask down to show that he had a small smile as well as he jumped off the railing from when he jumped to my floor and followed me inside my room.

"Nice room." He commented the moment I closed the balcony doors and walked inside. "Thanks, but I'm sure your room is just as nice. They want us to feel welcomed and connected to our element. You should see the others' rooms. Anna's is wild with animal themes, Emara has soft colors and even some crystals around her room for good vibes and Sora has a bed that hangs from the ceiling." I informed him as I walked to my own bed and sat down, but the moment I did, I couldn't help but lean back so I was laying on it. It was just too comfortable to just sit on it in my opinion.

Yeah, during our little interactions or 'meetings,' the others had told me about their rooms and how they liked it as it fit their element. I haven't physically gone to see it, but I believe them with how my room was. I was technically only a healer, but I guess they forgot or don't know that I can fight with my powers as well. I guess it was like how Clouse was trained in the dark arts, I'm basically trained in the opposite type of arts. My spells were merely powered by my aether. It can be dangerous if not used properly or if you used too much or too little of aether so my mom had to teach me the proper amount depending on what kind of spell I was or were to perform.
