Sora's Pov

__________

It had taken a while, but before we knew it, we were underwater. Rex had closed up so no water would get inside and get on us or get on any of the machinery inside. I was honestly glad due to the fact that if water had gotten in here, then Cole would've gotten hit with water and well...potentially died? I honestly didn't want to think about it. Only thing I wanted to think about was the fact we had to do this in order to save Lloyd. We still had no idea when or if Hikaru would wake up any time soon since the last time we heard about him, Misako noted that he was nowhere close to waking up. It worried me a lot and I was sure the others felt the same, but he was safe with Sensei and the girls. He'll be okay and so will Lloyd cause we'll help them both as well as the rest of Ninjago.

"We're almost to the tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master." Zane said, snapping me out of my thoughts as I looked at the boys who stood in front of me— closer to the front of the vehicle. "Yeah. Can't believe we're almost there, after all we've been through." Cole said optimistically. I couldn't help but smile and nod in agreement to what he had said. But Kai seemed a bit uneasy as he said. "I can't believe I'm underwater." Oh right, he was scared of water. I still find that kind of funny since Kai was the master of fire and was scared of water, which is what Nya was the master of. "You? What about me? Just how thick is this glass?" Cole asked as he tapped the windows beside him. I hummed and nodded. "At least you wouldn't disappear immediately, unlike Cole." I said, placing a hand on my boyfriend's shoulder.

"We're heading to your location now. With Morro already ahead of you and able to foresee the traps protecting the tomb with the Sword of Sanctuary, it's going to be up to you five to find the Realm Crystal before he does." Sensei Wu said as he popped up on the screen before us where we had seen a map, showing us where we were going. I could see Misako in the background looking at a scroll, but I didn't see Nya anywhere so she must've been steering. "Hehe, Cole's a ghost, Kai can't swim, we have no magical sword or elemental powers. Heh, heh, heh...what can go wrong?" Jay said, making me glare at him. "Don't jinx us, Jay!" I exclaimed, pointing a finger at him which made him throw his hands up in surrender. Cole pulled me away from him as we turned back to the screen as Misako stepped up.

"I may not know the three tests you're about to face, but I discovered a riddle that makes reference to it that may help." She said, opening the scroll as she read aloud. "A Spinjitzu Master can. A Spinjitzu Master cannot. To move forward, don't look ahead, to find his resting spot." She read out, making me look at the screen confused. "Uh, is it too late to mention that riddles aren't my thing? I didn't understand that at all." I told her, making Cole nod. "Uh, that's food for thought." I raised an eyebrow at his wording and turned to him even more confused, but Jay cut in first. "Speaking of food, we're about to be some!" He exclaimed, making me move to the side just as alarms started to go off only to see a giant octopus creature. "Oh crud." I said, pulling away from the window and looked at the other four. "We have to go faster! Much faster!" Kai exclaimed as Cole took control of Rex and made us go faster.

It wasn't long before a tentacle came in contact with the glass, breaking it in the process but not enough for water to come inside. "Why did the tomb have to be underwater?" Kai cried out as he looked at the cracked glass. "Hold on!" Cole exclaimed, making me look at him again, only to hold onto something as he made a turn. I could practically hear my heart hammering in my chest as I looked around with Jay, trying to find something to attack that creature with. "Ugh! What kind of weapons is this thing equipped with?" Jay questioned, but I paused when Zane spoke up. "We don't need weapons! Aim for that rock!" He exclaimed, pointing towards a rock ahead of us. Cole nodded to Zane's words and turned us towards it. "On it!" And soon I saw why Zane told Cole to go towards it, there was a small enough entrance on the lower side of it that we could slip past, that the creature could not. We went through easily and I spun around to look out and see the creature get stuck. I couldn't help but grin and cheer with the others as Jay even said. "Thatta boy, Rex, thatta boy!" And with that, we continued on our path underwater until we came upon a cave that had an entrance for us with no water!
