A/N:

Okay I'm gonna go ahead and say I am so sorry for the small hiatus. I know I haven't updated in about like, what like two weeks? Three weeks? Half to almost a month basically.

I just had a lot of stuff going on irl and I had to get some stuff situated. I'm still trying to get things better at least, but I'll try to get back into the updates! Even though work is getting busier (losing people) I'll still try to update at least once a week!

Anyway, without further ado~

On with the new chapter!

Hikaru's Pov

In a way I had wondered if it was even best to show I was on the same side as the ninjas as maybe we could get the upper hand by surprising others, but it was probably already obvious with how Lloyd kept his arm around my shoulders, keeping me close to him. I mean yeah I didn't wear my ninja gi, but there's no telling what these people may think. But at the moment...everyone was too focused on the island in front of us. We were all in awe as we had never been outside of Ninjago. Well, most of us anyway. It was still amazing to see something like this.

"Look at that. Awesome." Kai said just barely above a whisper. I had chosen to ignore him, but that was until Karloff said. "Let me see." And shoved Kai out of the way. I let out a sigh as I focused my powers on them just as Kai said. "Do you mind??" I managed to pull them away from each other and restrain them before they got into another fight. The two were confused, but I let them go when everyone's attention was turned back to the island- which we had reached. We soon walked back to where we entered from- as they placed the plank back down. "Welcome to Chen's Island." Clouse started as he walked across and onto the new land. "The tournament of Elements welcomes its brave fighters." He continued before he gave Sensei Garmadon a look. "Master Chen will be pleased you've returned, Sensei Garmadon." He spat the title, causing me to narrow my eyes.

Sensei Garmadon didn't even seem to be really phased as he followed Clouse off of the boat and stood across from him. "The pleasure is all mine, Clouse." The man in front of him just merely rolled his eyes as he replied sarcastically. "I'm sure it is." I shook my head as I started following everyone else off, watching as Clouse walked away. I decided to just walk with Sora, Anna and Emara as we walked ahead of the ninjas and with the rest of the elemental masters. Starting from now, we'll split into two teams. I frowned and glanced at Lloyd. "Couqu xeamilo?" I asked, to which he frowned, trying to translate it before sadly nodding. I glanced around us then slowed down so I was beside him. "Jogh deget kaquz, grefuta." I told him, sending him a smile to which he returned once he had a moment to translate what I had said. He was still a beginner at the language, but he knew enough that it probably wasn't hard for him to figure out what I said. I returned to my spot beside my other three friends who looked at me confused. I sighed and whispered. "We're splitting up into two teams. We'll still help each other, but for now let's be seperate." They were still confused and unsure, but nodded as we looked in front of us.
