Okay so first of all, Happy Belated Birthday to Hikaru! I wanted to update on his birthday (which was May 14th) but sadly I've been extremely busy with work (I have 55 hours this week and I might even get more 😔😔😔).

Take care of yourself everyone, get your well deserved rest, drink plenty of water and remember to eat something or at least snack on something when you can!

Anyway, on with the chapter!

Everyone got into their places and I hated every minute that I couldn't be by Lloyd's side to help him. I haven't even had a chance to try to heal his back and even if I had tried to, he'd probably just say to focus on helping him win the match- but in my eyes, that was helping him win the match. "Lloyd, master of energy versus Camille, master of form!" Chen started. I stood by Kai, Jay and Anna as we looked at Chen and Clouse. Sensei Garmadon was even over by those two as he was to not interfere or anything. I didn't even dare look to our right to see how we were outnumbered. "Most laps with their jade blade when time runs out wins! Loser is out! He grinned as we all got ready to skate. "Thunder-bladers on your mark! Get set!" I watched as he spun his chair around as he quickly stated. "Good luck to everyone!! But mostly Camille because we all want the green ninja out. Now go!"

I hardened my glare on him as Lloyd started skating with the horn going off. I just wanted to punch Chen in the face. I was to the point I had almost raised my hand to just startle him but I felt a hand on my shoulder. "Calm down, lover boy." I felt my face heat up as I turned to Anna who said that. When I didn't say anything and looked at her startled, her grin just increased as she let out a howl of laughter. "So I was right when I saw you wearing a second necklace and Lloyd all of a sudden wearing one?" Attention was now on us as I pushed her off of me and started skating when the second horn went off. "Anna, it's not the Yin and Yang necklaces. It's...a different promise necklace. A promise to be together before the whole Yin and Yang thing.." I told her as I skated next to her and Jay who now listened to our conversation. Jay just let out a sigh as he shrugged. "Everyone was wondering when the two of you would finally at least start dating." I rolled my eyes at him. "People, can we please focus on the race right now."

Luckily they listened to me as we went back to skating only to lose Kai. Even after getting back up, Kai would just try holding onto one of us and tag along just so he can keep his balance. It wasn't a good thing considering how they would shove us and Jay had to use everything in him to not fall. I narrowed my eyes when we were shoved out of the way just enough so Camille could get through and continue. I noticed Lloyd unable to get through and I narrowed my eyes. "We have to give him room." Jay said, causing me to nod while Kai asked. "How are we supposed to do that?" I grinned as I skated beside them. "Already on it." I skated ahead of them and just managed to keep my balance as I sent a wave of aether in between them and separated them. I turned to Jay. "Shock them to stun them for a little bit." I told him, to which he nodded and did so. It had slowed them down to help Lloyd have enough time to skate through the opening- but Kai had used him as a crutch to stay up. Oh boy.

Lloyd thanked us as he skated by, but Kai apologized to the green ninja as he was still using him to stay up right. Which only resulted in the two of them falling. I skated over to them and helped him up. "C'mon let's get you back into the race, green." I told him as we started skating away from Kai. I know that was kind of cold but who else was gonna help Lloyd win? Jay was helping Kai up anyway. Someone needed to help Lloyd considering how outnumbered we were. Anna was by us as she skated a few feet ahead, but close enough to us as she was leading us back to the others. This was gonna be a long match.
