Hikaru's Pov

_____

I have been practically a mute ever since I woke up. I didn't know why, but every time I tried to open my mouth, nothing would come out— even if something did then my voice would break so I decided it would be best to stay muted. The man I had grown to know as Morro was upset by this as he wished to know more about me, but I also wished to know about myself. He was often seen scowling or in some sort of angered state. I didn't even know my own name, to which he told me was Jun. It sounded odd to me like if it wasn't my name, but I never questioned it as it was probably just from where I didn't remember it. That was another question– why didn't I know or remember anything? Why did I have next to nothing in my memories? Everything was blank before Morro had woken me up. He had even started training me in martial arts. Everything came to me quickly with that however as if I already knew how to fight. Morro explained to me that I was his partner and that I was involved in an accident that caused me to lose some of my memories. I was glad he was reteaching me things as I was...very out of place. Everything felt so foreign to me.

__________

A couple of hours had passed and we were now at a place he called the Library of Domu. He used his green dragon that he summoned to get us there. I was fascinated by it and caused me to grow excited as we flew. Morro had even given me a new outfit versus the tattered one I was previously wearing. I was now wearing a dark gray and black ninja gi with a small hint of deep violet. He also told me that if I saw anyone dressed similar to us to defend myself and to get away from them. He said originally to attack them, but I made a face that resulted in his sighing and 'correcting' himself to say to at least defend myself as I didn't fully remember everything on fighting. Anyway, as we entered the library, Morro went straight to our right and started to search the shelves, pulling off scrolls without a care as he searched for a certain one. He informed me it was the scroll of Airjitzu, whatever that was.

As soon as we turned around, he saw a painting of a man on top of what looked to be a tornado? Was that what he was looking for? I frowned when I saw it was missing. "Morro?" I asked carefully as he growled, turning to the man to our left. "Sensei Yang's scroll! Where is it?" He spat at the man in robs. The man didn't seem to understand his question or didn't get straight to the point as he said. "Oh yes. Sensei Yang will be sorely missed. His teachings will always--!" He was cut off as Morro grabbed him by the front of his collar. "Morro!" I gasped as I grabbed his arm, trying to pull him off of the man. "Where's the scroll of Airjitzu?" He asked, sending a small glare my way. Seeing his glare caused me to flinch and back away. I didn't want him to hurt me. "I-it was s-stolen a-a few days a-ago by that t-thief they call R-Ronin." The man barely managed to get out as he was fearful that Morro would hurt him. And he did.

The moment he finished his sentence, Morro threw him into the shelf we were just at and Morro grabbed my hand. I flinched at the contact at first before realizing he was pulling me with him so I wouldn't fall behind. I never objected as I ran after him. We were stopped at the exit as one of the guards stopped us. "Uh excuse me!" He interrupted. Morro quickly pulled his hand back, ready to attack and I reached for the blade on my side before we heard his question. "Could we get your autographs?" He asked. I glanced at Morro in confusion as we chorused. "Autographs?" The other one grinned as they huddled up beside us and I couldn't help but inch closer to Morro at their closeness.
