Hello everyone! I apologize for the hiatus/late updates, but I promise I'm slowly getting back into updating! My sleep schedule has been all over the place and my job has put me on night shift, but I'm finally getting back on days! That and with the new schedule we're going to be trying to start up soon I should be able to have more free time to write! Well, at least half a week's worth.

Off topic, but it makes me happy to know people like this story because believe it or not, this story is actually a rewrite from what I started with! I had wrote a Ninjago story years back (which wasn't as good as this one if I'm being completely honest and not as long with the chapters either) and Hikaru was...well, not himself. He's actually gone through a couple of changes, including what gender he is/what he identifies as so yeah he's gone through a lot lol.

Anyway! I finally got around to updating so I hope everyone enjoys it!

Please take care of yourselves everyone! <3

We were back at Sensei Wu's tea shop that slowly went out of business– the obvious reason was because we weren't here long enough to even sell anything to make any money, and since Morro's been here we haven't seen very many customers either. While Sensei Wu and Misako were working on trying to decipher the next clue, Nya was training to awaken her powers more and gain control of them in full. Come to find out, she was also an elemental master– the master of water. I found it hilarious that Kai was scared of water, yet his younger sister controlled the very same element. Ronin was who knows where, but if he wasn't inside the tea shop, then very likely he was near Rex, his ship. Hikaru was still unconscious inside the Bounty in his room. We all decided it would be best if he continued to rest, seeing as we don't know what all he has to go through once he wakes up. After hearing the things Fenwick had told us about him, we had grown worried for our teammate and friend. He was the youngest, yet it seemed like he got the most bad luck. We could only hope that he'll wake up soon and well.

"There– this should keep customers away. "Closed for renovations."" Zane said as he placed a sign up by the entrance of the store. Really if they wanted to, anyone could walk around it, but it was on the path so maybe everyone would look at it before they entered. "More like fortifications. If Morro and his ghouls show up looking to steal the Sword of Sanctuary, they won't know what hit them." Kai said confidently after placing a bucket full of water on top of the door that led inside of the tea shop. I walked over to him and rolled my eyes. That bucket of water could easily be avoided if you're quick enough.

However, it seems like I jinxed it by just thinking it as Cole walked out of the door just to see the bucket of water starting to fall on him. "Cole!!" I shouted out of worry. My eyes went wide and I went to run over to him, but he luckily jumped back just in time to avoid it. He stumbled and fell onto the ground before jumping back up. "Careful! You know not all of us are immune to water! And I would like to stick around long enough for Misako and Sensei to figure out the clue!" Cole exclaimed. I couldn't blame him for being upset. He could've died– well again– just now! I let out a sigh of relief when I saw him jump over the bucket once the door was pushed open more. He ran over to us and jumped over a patch of water that was in the middle of the ground where Jay was covering it up with some bamboo sticks. "We got Cyclondo, we got the sword! Now we just have to figure out where the tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master is!" Jay exclaimed as he looked up from his work.
