Chapter Sixteen

Quick A/N!

I tried thinking of what the ninjas' ages are, and just a rough idea at the beginning of this book (or the series you could say) I thought of was this:

Cole and Zane are like at least 18-19

Kai, Jay, Sora and Anna are 17-18

Nya and Emara are like 16-17

Lloyd and Hikaru around 16-17 as well but before the T.T incident they were 11-12

I mean technically speaking Zane could be possibly much older, but for the age he acts or how he appears will be around a young adult.

Anyway on with the story!!

Sora's Pov

We were back at Borg Industries as the others were getting ready to enter the digiverse I believe they called it. After seeing the Serpentine, we went back above the surface to see how Mr. Borg and everyone else were doing, and came to find out- Mr. Borg actually had power. I was looking out the window, thinking about Lloyd and Hikaru when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I frowned and looked at my side to see Cole giving me a small smile. "We'll get them back, I promise." He told me, causing me to give him a tiny smile back. I nodded and looked over at Mr. Borg as he wheeled himself around with a button. I raised an eyebrow as he said. "I think we should put the main switch over here. To keep it tucked away a little." He said as he screwed it into the counter closer to the window by me and Cole.

I wasn't really a tech person, and nor was Cole and Kai, but we all tried our best to try to understand what was being said, and at least got a general idea I guess on what was going on? I have no clue, that's for sure. "With a little ingenuity and a few more coaxial cables." He started as he started tinkering with some cords. He smiled to himself as he continued. "We may be able to reboot the system with the Techno Blades and erase the Digital Overlord for good." I blinked in surprise as he said that, causing me to look at the others. I frowned and stepped up as we had walked over to him, speaking up before Jay did. "If I may, Mr. Borg- I thought we needed the stolen hard drive in order to erase him?" Jay nodded in agreement, meaning he was going to ask the same thing.

Mr. Borg just smiled at us as he went back to tinkering with what he had available in front of him. "I did. But that was before I truly understood the entire capabilities of what Zane's powers truly allow us." I was still confused as Kai even stepped up to ask. "And what is that?" He didn't even turn around to reply to us as he said. "A chance to enter remotely," I blinked as I looked at him. A what? "By the time we figure out where Lloyd and Hikaru are, it'll be too late to stop the Overlord from draining their Silver and Golden Power." Nya stepped forward as she asked. "And escaping the Digiverse?" Mr. Borg looked at her and smiled. "Exactly." He frowned as he looked at all of us. "But if we digitize the Ninja and Techno Blades using my experimental technology," I wanted to say something right then and there when he said "experimental," but I didn't. "You could fight him on his own turf inside the Digiverse."

I looked over at the tvs as some started turning on. I frowned and turned back to them as Jay asked. What do you mean, inside the Digiverse?" Cole let out a groan as he said. "Ugh, weren't you listening? He's going to put us into the video game." Cole exclaimed. Well, that was one way of putting it. I couldn't help but let out a small giggle as I grabbed Cole's hand, signaling him to calm down if he was annoyed with Jay, which seemed to help him. He looked at me with a small blush before turning back to glare at Jay who jumped up and down excitedly. "I know! Hehe! I just wanted to hear it again!" I rolled my eyes and whispered to Cole. "He acts like a school-girl." To which he laughed at, nudging me as Jay glared at the two of us, knowing we were talking about him.
