"Brother let me be your shelter
I'll never leave you all alone
I can be the one you call
When you're low
Brother let me be your fortress
When the night winds are driving on
Be the one to light the way
Bring you home""Brother" - NEEDTOBREATHE
Abbie's POV -
Silence.
I've always hated it. Wether it be an awkward silence or a deadly silence I despise them, yet I'm always caught in them.
Like now, for instance. It was silent.
Deadly.
Crowley was scowling at me and I was silently crying, panicking.
I cleared my throat "well?" I shakily said "who was it? Who came first?" I asked, watching Crowley intently.
"What? I haven't the foggiest" he said simply, suddenly he was calm.
He let out a loud puff of air.
"That" he commented "is for you to find out, sweet cheeks" he said and took a step backwards.
"I think I'll be nice and give you....a week. That sounds fair - you have seven days to make a decision or else I will came down there and personally force you to make one" he said, glowering at me towards the end.
"And trust me, you will not like how I handle things" he said, once again soundings angry.
"See you soon then" he said and started walking towards the fire exit.
But he suddenly stopped and turned on his heel.
"Make sure you and easily contactable. If I can't get through to you via phone, I'll make an unwanted appearance - and I'll take one of your friends, faye for instance, as collateral damage. Just to hurry things along. Comprendé?" He asked and I nodded hastily.
"Good" he said and started walking again "oh, and by the way, let's keep this little meeting" he said and gestured between him and I "between us, yeah?" he asked and I nodded in reply.
"Bon voyage, my little red head" he sang as he left "see you soon" he mocked.
---
Ten minutes has passed and my heart is still beating rapidly in my chest.
I ran my fingers through my hair and shakily got to my feet. I once again put the rag down on to the side - I'm not really in the mood for clearing up now.
I grabbed a glass and went to run in under the tap for water when a horn beeping outside startled me. Thus causing me to drop the glass and it to smash.
I lent against the counter and put my head in my hands as I tried to control my breathing.
Mid breath my phone started to ring.
"Hello?" I shakily answered in fears of it being Crowley.
"Hey Abbie? It's Luke, umm..Dylan and I are outside the restaurant in the car but the lights are off and the doors are locked. Are you inside or.....?" He asked sounding worried.
"Yeah" I breathed "I'm in the kitchen I'll be out in a minute" I said, trying to sound calm.
"Uh...pull up round the back and I'll come out of the fire exit as I've already locked up" i instructed.
"Okay, babe" Luke said simply and hung up.
I sighed and went to find a brush.
This decision is going to be very hard. And now I only have seven days. I wonder who came first, one side of me thinks it's obviously Luke but then, the other half says its Dylan.
