Chapter 36 Hers

I woke up with a terrible headache and my body is feeling sore. Hindi naman madami ang nainom ko kagabi but why do I feel like this? Wala din naman ako masyadong ginawa pero sobrang sakit ng katawan ko at pagod na pagod ako.
I reached for my phone to see the time and it’s still so early. It’s 7 am in the morning and I don’t usually woke up at this early when I don’t have school to attend to.

“Good morning, baby!” I heard a husky feminine voice greeted me that’s why I slowly turned my attention where the voice came from.

There she is looking so fresh while lying beside me. She’s smiling ear to ear while looking at me. It seems like she has already done taking a bath.

“What the hell are you still doing here, Cynthia?!” I hysterically asked her but she just smiled again.

“Stop smiling!” I said irritated when she didn’t answered my question.

I got up from my bed and decided to ignore her because seeing her makes my headache worse.

Napaupo ako ulit when I felt a pain in my head again. Napahawak nalang ako sa ulo ko, not minding my already exposed body since I always sleep naked. I started sleeping naked again after the incident 2 years ago because sleeping naked calms my nerves and mind. I just feel free and at peace whenever I feel naked. I also didn’t mind if Cynthia is still here because obviously nakita niya naman na lahat ito, so why would I bother to keep it from her, right?

“Are you okay? Drink this, I made you a hangover tea since I know that you are also allergic to pain killers. It will help you regain your energy too” she said in a concern tone as she went near me.

“Since when? Last time I remember food allergy ko lang ang sinabi sayo ni Akie?” I curiously asked as I hesitantly accept the tea from her. Malay ko ba kung ano nanaman hinalo niya doon. Hindi ko na rin sinagot ang tanong niya since obvious naman na hindi ako okay dahil sa lala ng sakit ng ulo ko ngayon kasabay ng panghihina ng katawan ko.

“Don’t worry, it’s just a plain tea. Wala ako ibang hinalo” she said when she noticed me doubting. “and to answer your question, I’ve heard it from Suji” she added.

I just nodded and drink the tea. It’s delicious and refreshing. She’s really good at this huh.

After drinking it, I just placed the glass on the bedside table and lied on the bed again while closing my eyes as I massaged my temple.

“Do you want me to just call a room service for our breakfast?” she asked.
“No, I’ll join the breakfast downstairs. I’ll just rest for 5 minutes and will take a bath in a few. Mauna kana bumaba” I said in a groggy voice.

“Okay, then we’ll go there together” she said in finality.

I felt her hands removed my hands from my temple and replaced it with hers. She gently massaged it and it felt so relieving. I feel like I wanna sleep again but of course, I can’t. I need to attend the breakfast because I have things to discuss with Akiko after breakfast. We only have limited time because of our busy schedules that’s why we need to talk immediately.

“Why do I feel so sore too? Did I do something wrong last night?” I carefully asked because she might think that I was thinking that something happened between us. Tss!

This is really unusual for me because I’m used to drinking and lagi ko naman naaalala ang nangyari after waking up but today is different. My last memory was the kiss and after that hindi ko na alam.

I’m starting to think na tuloy na hindi lang tranquilizer yung itinurok niya sa akin. Maybe there’s something more on it.

“Hindi mo naaalala?” a playful smirk formed her lips when I opened my eyes and looked at her.
