Chapter 47 Cuba

CYNTHIA'S POV

Today is the day of the fashion show that we have been preparing for. We are now in Havana Cuba where Sapphire decided to held it because she wants to expand the business here.

Since Cuba have great beaches and they are known for their beautiful sunset, the company decided to held the runway in a beach resort and decided to begin it later in the afternoon when the sun is setting. It’s been actually a month since the casting happened and I’ve been very busy during our preparation because I designed all the swim wear that the model will wear later. Silver has always been busy too because she started working in Verlis right after a week of her rest.
When I heard from Silver that Kiraz has type 1 diabetes just like what Miyu have, I feel like it crushed my heart. I know how hard it is to live with insulin everyday because I’ve seen how Miyu suffers since the day she was born until now.

If my Vermiz is still here, she would probably be like them. I gave birth to her with type 1 diabetes too because it runs in our blood. It was genetic and we were just lucky we don’t have it. But, Miyu and my daughter Vermiz had it.

I just hope that my daughter is doing well and being taken care.
 
“Hi, I’m sorry I’m late. I had to assist an urgent operation before my flight. Have you seen Sapp?” I heard my favorite voice asked at my back which made me go excited to face her. I thought she won’t make it anymore.

She looks ravishing on even in her simple white button shirt that is tightly knotted on her belly which exposed her defined abdomen while her sleeves are folded before her elbow. She partnered it with a high-waist black skinny jeans.

“Hey, love! It’s okay. I’m glad you made it. Sapphire’s in the backstage” I greeted her with a smile and pointed her the backstage.

She looks like she was in a hurry based on how she was gasping for breath. But, despite of that she managed to not lose her poise in front of me. Her forehead even frowned when she heard the way I called her ‘love’ which made me chuckled and shook my head.

Damn this mere existence of hers, she can always make me bend to her will without her realizing. Literally and figuratively. I was super straight until I met her and never been straight again after that. Always bended everytime I look and think of her.

This past month have been very busy for the both of us, but despite of that I still made sure to give her time and visit her at Verlis. Lagi ko siyang kinukulit to have breakfast, lunch or dinner with me. Since she have hectic schedule, she always refused to go with me so to make sure that she stays healthy despite of her busy schedule, I always bring her foods. Hindi pa din nawawala ang pagsusungit niya sa akin but she’s more gentle now. Hindi na masyadong masungit and ngumingiti na din especially when Kiraz is around. Kiraz is slowly turning Silver to go back in her old and real self which is good because I never want to see Silver miserable and full of hatred. There are times too na dalawa kami ni Kiraz ang nagpupunta doon dahil minsan tinatawagan ako ng bata to spend time with her. I also started teaching her some Filipino words which I think she enjoyed because she was always attentive on everything I say. I can say that she is indeed a smart kid just like her mom. She is a fast learner at her young age.

“Okay, thanks. Imma go there now” paalam neto.

“Take care. Ayokong may mangyare sayo, gusto ko sa atin lang” I said playfully while smirking.

Her cheeks quickly blushed as she gave me a death glare. “Shut up” masungit niyang sabi.

“Shut me with your lips” I said in flirting.

She just shook her head and turned her back on me to go to the backstage.

“Crazy” I heard her mumbled before she could go far.
