CYNTHIA’S POV
As I am looking at the love of my life through the one-way mirror who is happy with some other girl, I felt a pang of pain crossed my heart. Oh, I deserve it. I was the one who left her. I was the one who let her go. She begged for me to comeback but instead of holding her and take her with me, I pushed her away and told her I don’t love her anymore. That I fell out of love and I already have someone else. I told her hurtful words and profanities. I deserve this. I deserve the pain that I am feeling right now.
It’s just a month, a fucking month passed but she’s already with someone else’s arms. I can’t blame her, I was the who did it first. I was the one who made her believed that I cheated. I inflicted that idea on her. Curse me, but I have reasons too. I didn’t want these to happen but I have to. I have to let her go for now. I promise I will get her back when the time comes. I’ll get back what’s mine.
I heard a knock on my door.
“Come in”
“Good afternoon ma’am! Ito na po yung utos mo, here’s the list of their orders” bungad ng isa sa mga waiter dito sa restaurant ko pagkapasok.
Yeah, I own this restaurant and Silver doesn’t know this. I never had the chance to take her here. We were so afraid that someone might see us dating that’s why we never had the chance to go out together here in the city.
“Okay, is the kitchen ready?” I asked.

So, this is one of the days that I don’t have work to do and my business today is to follow Silver. Kasunod lang nila akong pumasok kanina dito sa restaurant pero hindi na nila ako napansin because obviously, busy sila magharutan. Damn! That should be me. God knows how much I am restraining myself from taking away Silver from that bitch!
“Yes, maam” sagot neto.
“Okay, good job” I gave him a small smile and walked out of my office to go to the kitchen.
I looked at the lists and frowned when I saw the ingredients.

While cooking, I remember what Sapphire told me the last time I went to Suji’s house. When we thought that Silver was gone. We were all so worried dahil hindi pa ito sumasagot sa mga texts and calls sa kanya. They even thought na nahanap ito ng dad nila at kinuha na.
Buti nalang bago pa kami magreport sa police ay dumating ito. Looking like shit but she still managed to look ravishing on my sight. I was so hurt when she admitted that something happened between her and Iana.
That day, before I left there Sapphire confronted me.

“Wait, let’s talk” pigil sa akin ni Sapphire bago makalabas ng gate. Sinamaan niya pa ng tingin si Calvin na nakapulupot ang kamay sa bewang ko.
“Hintayin mo nalang ako sa labas, Cal” I told him which he obliged naman.
“What is it, Sapphire?” I asked when I made sure that Calvin has already left.
“Are you really over my sister?” she seriously asked.
“You heard what I said that day, Sapphire” I answered her.
