I changed some of the events in here, you'll notice. Basically Xiaojun is not part of that episode we can all remember and that we hate SM for. And I used the stage names because those are some of the few stage names I actually like :)

Shit.

Shit, shit, shit, shit.

Why? Why does this have to happen now, why does it have to happen to me? Why have I become an idol? Why this company? Why do they even do this to me?

Frogs.

Frogs are the one thing Hendery is terrified of.

There might be some more, but to be honest, right now he can't think of anything that scares him more than those slimy creatures. And they jump. And they are slimy.

The card in his hands almost falls to the ground when he reads their task. Lucas' and his task.

Why. Why the two of them? The answer is obvious, it's for entertainment purposes. And is there anything more entertaining than two idols scared to death in a small room where they are locked in for at least an hour with their worst fear until they have solved the mysteries of the escape room - if they haven't had a heart attack before that can happen?

Xiaojun isn't even here.

While Lucas laughs in a nervous way, Hendery tries to do the same. It's not as easy though. He can't get his brain to think about something else than the fact that there's only about twenty minutes left until he'll face the harsh reality. The harsh reality in which he is scared but can't do anything about it. The harsh reality in which he can't chicken out. This is his job, his profession, his career. Doing stuff that you really don't want to do, it's part of being an idol.

What is entertaining about seeing me scared and probably wetting my pants at some point?

What is entertaining about me screaming as soon as I enter that room?

What is funny about me failing my task and dragging my members down?

Hendery doesn't get it. Neither do his members. Wearing his weird frog costume doesn't make the situation any less frightening.

A staff member blindfolds Lucas and Hendery. They are lead to a room.

The room.

The escape room.

There is no escape though. There is no way Hendery is going to do anything else than crying in there. And what about Lucas? Lucas is scared of frogs, too, everybody knows that. Hendery won't be of much help for him. No, they are both going to freak out in there.

Maybe he should fake being sick? Maybe that would prevent these horrible scenarios he keeps imagining from happening. If he just walks a little slower, he has a bit more time before the nightmare starts. If he behaves a little more pathetic, maybe the staff will feel pitiful and let him be.

Please, just let me be. Just leave me alone.

Hendery's breathing hitches. His heartbeat speeds up.

No, no, no, no, no, no.

Please, no.

He grabs fistfuls of Lucas' frog costume, tries to hide behind his friend, but Lucas isn't feeling any better. The anxiety and fear is getting to both of them.

The staff takes Hendery's arm once again. Hendery lets go of Lucas. He almost frees himself of the staff's death grip but remembers he is not allowed to. The staff pushes him through the door. They are not rude, but to Hendery it feels like his company is pushing him off a cliff. As soon as Lucas and Hendery are inside the room, the door closes behind them. A click signalizes their final damnation. The door is locked.
