But... she isn't here...

This is after the final battle, everyone but Shinobu and Gyomei are there.

It was a bright day, the whole corps had gotten together to celebrate Tanjiro and Kanao getting married. It was a joyous day for everyone involved. Aoi and Inosuke where bickering per usual. Zenitsu was sticking close to Nezuko. Mitsuri was dragging Obanai with her and looking at everything.

The altar was set outside. Some chairs and a picnic were set around the altar. Tanjiro looked like he was beaming with happiness and love. Giyuu was happy for him, truly. He just wasn't feeling his best. Gyomei... And Shinobu... They were no longer with the rest of the former demon slayers. Giyuu looked up at the cloudless sky. He closed his eyes and thought.

"Do you guys see us..? Are you comfortable there?" He pressed his head down. The ceremony would start soon.

-Kanao walked down the aisle. She looked beautiful. She was such a graceful, determined, young lady. She was the spitting image of her sisters. She looked so happy beside Tanjiro when the two exchanged vows. Giyuu couldn't help but feel a bit relived. He may not have had the chance to live a life with his soulmate. But, he knew she was waiting for him. And he would stay loyal to her, until he finally joined her in the ranks of stars across the sky.

Kanao turned her back to the guests, and threw the flowers. Giyuu wasn't paying attention. but, as faith would have it.. a few flowers seprated from the bouget. They landed in the pocket of Giyuu's suit. A small gasp was heard from Mitsuri. Giyuu glanced at her with misty eyes, she looked like she was about to burst out crying. Giyuu slowly took the flowers from his pocket. It was a small clump of Forget-Me-Not's... He twiddled them between his fingers. A small stream of tears came from his eyes. He extended his hand out. He gave a faint smile and did what he had wanted to for the longest time.

-For you... He said to the shiluet of a lady with a thin frame, bright eyes and a butterfly ornament...
