A/N: Apparently I accidently deleted this chapter, so I rewrote it so that the story is still there. Sorry to excite anyone and sorry to those who didn't understand what was going on when they read this. There are a couple of other chapters that were deleted so I will be rewriting and posting them as soon as I can.

Thank you for all your support!

Why did he have to hold her hand? Why did he wink at her?

After quickly changing into our costumes, the class gathered in a giant warehouse for orientation to the exam.

"There's so many people. . ." Denki muttered.

There was a podium at the front, and after a couple of minutes a man with lilac bags under his eyes stepped up. "Well then, let's do that provisional license thing. . ." He mumbled.

"I'm Mera from the Heroes Public Safety Commission." He held his head low. "I've been so busy that I haven't gotten much sleep. . . we're too short-staffed. . !"

". . . Is he okay?" I slowly asked Denki, who merely shrugged.

"All 1,540 examinees here will have to win through a free-for-all exercise!" Mera tiredly announced. "Our society is currently said to be saturated with heroes, and ever since Stain was arrested, many have shown doubts about the current state of heroes. You are all about to receive your provisional licenses and finally throw yourselves into the rapids. Those who can't keep up with that speed will frankly have it tough.

"Accordingly, what you'll be tested on is speed!"

Mera then began to explain the requirements of the exam.

Essentially, everyone is given three targets and six balls. The targets had to be placed on any exposed spot on your body. Targets light up when they're hit with a ball. If all three of your targets light up, you fail. Only the person who lights up the third target on someone will receive credit. In order to pass the exam, you are required to defeat two people.

"The first hundred to fulfill the requirements will pass."

I jumped in shock. "Only a hundred?? Out of 1,540!?"

Suddenly, the ground began to shake. Was it an earthquake? Denki immediately clung to my arm for balance.

The giant room we were in unfolded itself to reveal a giant stadium with all kinds of different terrains. It couldn't help but remind me of the USJ.

"When the hell did this get here!?" Denki shrieked like a girl. I couldn't help but laugh a little.

After the targets and balls were all passed out, we had a single minute to prepare ourselves.

"Everyone! Don't get too separated!" Midoriya said to our class as other schools began to run out into the stadium. "Let's move as a group!"

"Yeah, right!" Bakugo growled, turning and running in a different direction. Kirishima followed after him, and Denki followed after him.

Denki, you idiot. . .

Shoto began to walk away from the group as well. "Where are you going?" I asked without thinking.

He looked back at me with a glare before turning back to look forwards. "It's hard for me to use my power in a big group."

I pushed my hurt feelings deep down. Now's not the time to get distracted .

"This way!" Midoriya took the lead, everyone in the class following him. As I ran, my feet pounded against the ground, gradually building up energy. I stayed next to Midoriya.
