The next morning, I woke up in George's arms, the feel of his lips on mine lingering. As I looked up at him groggily, he was already looking down at me with eyes full of something I couldn't make out, there was, however, the most brilliant smile adorned on his face. It was bright enough that I couldn't help but lazily smile as well as the effects of sleep slowly wearied off, and I wondered what could possibly make him so happy at this hour.

"What is it, Georgie?" I asked him, cocking my head curiously as I unwillingly mirrored his smile. He simply looked into my eyes, his wide grin and twinkling eyes not fading. Just the way he was gazing at me was enough to give me the familiar fluttering feeling of butterflies, and while I was attempting to decode what could possibly make him so happy, he just kept on staring at me. "George-" I was about to question his odd mood further when his lips crashed down onto mine, sending me into a clouded daze as this kiss was similar to the one of last night. I couldn't think straight, and that faded fluttering in my stomach intensified at his passion. I matched his lead, letting him enter my mouth and take control of the kiss, and all the questions I had previously left my mind.

When we finally separated, I was breathless, a blush forming on my cheeks. You'd think that after being with someone for so long, you wouldn't blush any longer, but with him, it would be hard not to. "What is up with you this morning?" I practically laughed out, studying his content features in confusion.

"I love you, darling." He whispered lovingly as he planted another soft kiss, although he couldn't stop himself from grinning.

"What-"

"We should get ready for classes don't you think love?" He stopped me from pestering him with any more questions, and when I looked up to our clock, I realized he was right, although I knew I wouldn't drop it.

We made our way down to breakfast a little while later, and during the time I kept on glancing up to George, always catching him already staring down at me with that unfazed grin. When we sat down, I noticed something was off, and it was only when I became aware of the empty seat on my right that I realized, Fred wasn't here.

"Hey Ang, where's fireboy?" I asked her considering she was his soulmate.

"I don't know, he left me a note this morning saying he had to do something but he didn't say what it was." Her confused expression only furthered mine; Where could he possibly be on a school morning.

"Maybe do the soulmate thing," I suggested as I tried thinking of what he possibly had to do that didn't involve George. Usually, it would've been matters for their shop or pranks, and yet that would include both of them.

"He's angry, like Freddie Krueger angry." Angelina's face contorted to frustration - We both knew that whenever Fred was like this, he was either fighting someone or was recovering from a biased Quidditch match. We had given him the nickname Freddie Krueger - after the murderous serial killer - after he had beat a Slytherin to a pulp for slapping Angelina's ass.

"I'll take care of him, don't worry babes." I consoled the girl. She hated seeing Fred hurt or get in trouble so I could tell that my words eased her.

Despite wanting to go into Journaling, I basically took the role of the doctor with all my friends. I always carried a small bag I had charmed to contain various medical supplies, and with getting CPR certified last summer, I healed the boys after every fight considering the girls were never stupid enough to purposefully put themselves in danger.

Our conversation was interrupted when the morning owls came with the mail, and today I knew I was to receive a very charismatic letter from my dearly beloved Jonathan. Just as always, the letter was addressed to Victoria Jane, and I was so caught up in reading the roller coaster that is his writing to notice George cocking his head in question.
