*Sorry for the long time it took to update - I've been really stressed with finals!*
George's Perspective
After leaving Althea, I went to my common room, absolutely livid. I stormed into the red and gold common room, catching Fred and Angie talking quietly at the bay window, their love for one another clear for any onlookers to see.
Something about knowing everything I was going to do to that piece of shit kept me calm. I was happy to kill him and felt at peace with the idea of committing a little murder. I would never tell Althea that, however. I'm not sure she would completely approve.
"Do you guys remember the pact we made when we were kids?" I started, bringing their attention over to me. "We said that if any one of us were to kill someone, the other two would help cover it up." Fred definitely saw how serious I was, and by the way he stood up and tucked Angie under his arm, I knew that he was severely worried.
"Mate, we were kids-" Fred tried to reason, to walk me off the ledge- but I was already there, excited to jump.
"-I'm invoking that pact now." I stopped him, my every nerve on fire under my skin. I was a buzzing, walking ball of rage.
"What do you need us to do?" Angelina spoke up, surprising her soulmate who looked at her with wide eyes and a slack jaw.
She didn't acknowledge his shock and looked at me only, making me smile at how loyal and hardcore she was underneath that soft exterior. "Fred, you're going to have to make a scene pretending to be me. I don't care what you do - beat guys up for looking twice at Althea, frantically run around asking for Althea - do anything that I would do. Everyone needs to see and believe that they saw George, that way I have an alibi." Fred looked a mixture between shocked and concerned, but when I stared at him dead-faced, he nodded. "Angie, tell Bones that Fred is planning some sort of romantic getaway and that you two will be busy for all of today and tomorrow." Bones was the infamous gossip of the school who knew anything and everything, and we both knew that if anyone suspected anything, she would be the first they turn to. If everyone can report seeing me and Bones thinks that Fred is busy, my name won't be brought up.
"George, what the fuck are you going to do?" Fred asked, only to have Angelina's hand softly placed on his chest. He looked down at her immediately, and with a slight shaking of her head, he looked back up at me and nodded without another word. Everyone joked about how I was whipped, but so was he - terribly.
I turned around and walked out of the common room, thrilled to finally be able to do what I've wanted to do ever since the fucker raised his voice at her after asking for a tour.
He deserved what was coming for him.

I didn't know if he was dead.
Walking back to Althea's dorm, the thought rested peacefully in my mind. If I did kill him, it wouldn't weigh on my conscious. In fact, I kind of hope I did, because every time I see his face or hear him speak, I think about how much better the world would be without him in it.
Maybe it is because he was exactly like Higgs and Pucey were, and I had recognized the identical patterns he shared with the two Slytherins that attacked Althea. Or maybe it was because every time he looked at her, his eyes had this animalistic glint to them. Like she was prey, and he was stalking her, waiting for her to look away before he pounced.
What he did today was definitely the icing on the cake.
He deserved what I did to him.
I have absolutely no remorse.
