George's Perspective

The next day, I awoke to my alarm - a quiet one, so that it wouldn't wake Althea up -, and once again, basked in the privilege of holding her in my arms as she slept. Tuning in through the link, I felt she wasn't dreaming of anything terrible, reassuring me. She deserved to sleep peacefully, considering that her life was rarely peaceful.

About fifteen minutes later, I started gently waking her up. Kissing her temple, her cheek, down to her collarbone and shoulder. Her warm, smooth skin heated beneath my lips and fingertips, as I let them trace her beautiful features delicately; she was a work of art and had to be treated as such.

Slowly coming out of her deep slumber, she shifted, causing chocolate-brown curls to cover her face and collarbones. Coming back up to her level, I brushed them away, cupping her cheek and feeling how she leaned into my hand. "George," She mumbled, sighing as she let her head roll to one side of the pillow.

"Good morning, love," I responded, a smirk etching its way onto my face when I saw how she cutely pouted upon hearing that it was the morning which meant that she would have to get out of bed.

"No..." She whined, curling further into the blankets.

This is when the mornings got painful for me.

"I know, darling, I'm sorry," I whispered, kissing her forehead and slowly pulling the blankets down to reveal her face. I couldn't help smiling at the revelation of her features, finding her to be the cutest, most pretty thing to grace this planet. "Open those pretty brown eyes of yours for me, Althea Jane." I hushed as I lovingly tucked a curl behind her ear, inciting her eyes to flutter open and make me fall in love with her all over again.

"Hi," She whispered, smiling softly upon seeing my face.

God, she was beautiful.

"Hi," I responded with a humoured tone, captivated by the depth of her brown eyes and the way they shined when she smiled.

"Is it really time to get up?" She asked, looking up at me like I was her world, making a faint blush dust across my cheeks. I nodded, kissing her forehead

"I'm going to be cold," She sighed, her hand coming up and brushing a strand of my hair that had fallen against my forehead away. Without thinking, I took off my sweater to give to her for when she would have to inevitably come out of the covers. Just extending her arms out while the rest of her body remained hidden underneath the covers, her adorable way of asking for the sweater made me laugh. Putting it on her, she made a point to keep as much of herself beneath the comfort of the blankets. Once it was entirely on, I peeled the blankets off of her, obsessed with how she looked in my clothes.

I think she saw how my mood changed as she smirked, linking her arms behind my neck and pulling me down to her in a heated kiss. Settling over her with my forearms placed on either side of her head, she pressed herself against me in a desperate need for contact and warmth, the action making me groan in her mouth. Begrudgingly, I stopped our kiss and let her take a breath, regrettably saying "We have classes, love."

She shook her head, breathless and opposed as she responded, "Fuck classes," At this, I leaned back, looking at her as if she had grown two heads because, in a way, it sounded like she did - this wasn't Regular Althea speaking. "I'll explain later, but for now, fuck me like you should've last night."

Fuck.

I don't remember a time when I wasn't devastatingly wrapped around her finger.
