That night when I had gone back to my common room, I told Elise everything that had happened, and I dare say she might've been more upset than I was. The thing I loved about Elise was that she would always take my side, no matter what. Together we watched '10 Things I Hate About You' before going to bed.
When I woke up, I was determined. Those assholes wouldn't bother me today, I wouldn't let them. So, like the bad bitch I was, I wore my second school skirt which was much shorter than the one I usually wore, my white button-down that was slightly smaller, leaving the top buttons undone, and tights with knee-high white socks. I told Elise that I was going to sit with Theo, Pansy, and Astoria, Blaise, and Draco and she said she'd miss me but understood completely.
We strolled into the Entrance Hall and all the guys in our year were staring. I said goodbye to Elise and we parted ways. I felt the eyes of the twins and Lee on me and just to spite them I sat down right beside Theo at the Slytherin table, kissing him on the cheek.
I had already spoken to Pansy and Astoria quite a bit and we quickly began talking. Theo understood what had happened even though I didn't tell him, and went along with what I was doing. Breakfast actually went really well! They were all hilarious, and I was laughing the whole time. The thing I loved about Slytherin was that they were all badass and always had a good time. They then invited me to one of their private parties that they were going to be hosting in the Room of Requirement which I accepted, remembering what Roya had said about how good Slytherin parties were.
George's Perspective
I don't know what took over me last night. I knew she would never shag Theo, but I was just so frustrated. It was all my fault, I knew that, and when I saw her this morning, I regretted my entire existence. She came into the hall, enchanting every single guy. I looked her up and down, starting from her heels, that short skirt, her slightly exposed chest, to her face. She never once looked in our direction.
We watched as she strolled to the Slytherin table, kissing Theo on the cheek. I was jealous and angry, but I knew that none of it would've happened if it wasn't for me, and I cursed myself for it. Before I could ever acknowledge Elise's presence, she smacked the three of us, me harder than the others.
"What was that for?" Fred exclaimed, rubbing his red cheek.
"You know exactly why assholes." She menaced, sitting down with the girls who were giggling.
I completely deserved that.
The rest of breakfast was spent receiving deadly glares from Elise and a few more slaps on the back of my head and watching Althea laugh with the Slytherins. I watched how Theo kept his hand on her lower back and how she played with his hair. Why the fuck did I say that last night? It just came out, and I saw the faltering look on her face when I said it.
I keep on replaying her words, 'You disgust me,' 'All you've done is cause me pain,' 'I thought you cared.' Her words were like a knife, carving into my heart. I had ruined everything, but I couldn't give up now.
When breakfast was over, she walked to class and the three of us tried to catch up to her in the Slytherin crowds. We saw her talking animatedly with Theo, this was our chance.
"Althea!" I shouted, but she didn't turn around.
"Raven!" Fred tried, no response.
Lee tried as well but she ignored our calls, not stopping.
I came up behind her and grabbed her hand. She whipped around and looked me in the eyes which she never did. "DON'T touch me." Her words stung, but what hurt the most was the look in her eyes. They no longer held the kindness and mischief they so often held. No, her eyes were full of hatred and determination, and she didn't waver.
