Marcus Fahl was here. The man who had managed to take away the only people I ever loved in my life. The man who took away almost a year of my life because of how mentally devastated I was by the accident. He was standing in front of me. Smiling. Acting as if everything was ok."Naya? You ok?" Chuck shook my arm.
I returned back to reality hoping this was all a dream, but it wasn't.
I turned to Chuck. "Yeah." I shook my head and faked a smile. "Yeah. I'm fine."
"Good morning! I'm Marcus Fahl. I'll be spending the next 6 weeks teaching you all the wonders of marketing. You may have seen my hotels along the east coast. And don't forget. My Fahl liquor."
He sounded so happy. So proud of himself. I hated it. I wanted to leave. But I knew I couldn't. I needed this program. So, I decided to put aside the anger boiling inside me. I'm going to complete this program. And show that I was strong enough for this. I could do it.
After a grueling 3 hours, it was finally over. I somehow managed not to throw a pen at him, stabbing his heart, and watch him slowly bleed out. My nerves, though, were at their breaking point. Only 6 weeks, Naya.
"Hey, Naya." I was packing my bag and turned to see Chuck. "I was wondering if I could have your number.
"Oh, uh, sure." He gave me his phone and I typed it in.
"Maybe we can hang out later this week."
I nodded. "Yeah, sure."
I took out my phone from my pocket and saw a text from Violet.
violet: hi! tomorrow is scar's birthday and we're having a party at the cage tomorrow night. ur coming. no excuses :)

FLASHBACK
"Naya Gardner?" The police officer came up to me.
"Yes. Yes! That's me. Any news?" I asked her.
"Can you follow me to this room?" The lady took me to a back room at the station. "I think it's best if you sit down."
"Why? What's wrong?" I persisted.
"Naya. Unfortunately, we found the bodies of your mom, dad, brother, and sister in the building. They were already dead by the time we got in. There was nothing we could have done. I am so sorry for your loss."
I couldn't believe the words that came out of her mouth. I shook my head. The lady placed her hand on my shoulder and directed me to sit down. "No. NO! They can't be dead. THEY CAN'T BE!" Tears were gushing out of my eyes.
"I'm so sorry."
"NO! NO!"
FLASHBACK ENDED
"NO! NO!" I shot up from the bed. My face was tear-stained.
I hadn't had these nightmare flashbacks since when I was first admitted into the mental facility. They started back up again recently.
It was Tuesday morning. Day 2 of the program. I didn't want to go. I didn't want to see him. But, I remembered what I told myself yesterday. I was going to finish this strong.

It was the evening and I was currently trying to choose something to wear. Violet had told me to dress "cute" which I'm guessing means a dress or something like that. I finally settled on a leopard print skirt and black cropped blouse.
To be honest, I didn't even want to go to this party. After the past 2 days, I was not in the mood to be around people. I was only going for Violet.
Vince opened the door into the cage for me and I stepped in. I heard music. I wondered how I had never heard noise down in the cage while I was working at the bar before finding out about this.
I stepped down the last step and my eyes caught sight of people dancing and drinking. Most people had ditched the leather jackets. Girls were wearing short dresses or shorts with crop tops. Guys were wearing casual shirts, and some were even shirtless. I could clearly smell the alcohol.
I walked through the crowd and spotted Violet at the bar. I also saw Rocco with her.
"Naya! You look so good!" She exclaimed.
"You look amazing yourself!" I told her. She was wearing a burgundy bodycon dress that accentuated her curves.
"Lookin good, Naya." I turned to see Rocco wink at me.
"You too, Rocco." I laughed.
"Come sit down!" Violet gestured for me to sit at the empty seat to her right. "You have to drink. Ok? No excuses. It's a party."
"But-" She put her finger up, cutting me off. "Fine."
"Yay! Leo! Get over here! Get her tequila!" Violet yelled at a guy behind the counter.
"Tequila! That's-" I tried to argue.
"Loosen up!"
Leo poured me tequila and refilled the others' drinks as well.
"Come on! Bottoms up!" Violet yelled at me and chugged her drink down.
I raised my eyebrows at her. "Oh fuck it!" I brought the cup to my mouth and chugged it down.
"YESS!" Violet yelled out.
"Damn, Naya. I'm impressed." Rocco commented.
"Well, I'm a pretty impressive person." I grinned at him. "Leo! Pour me some more!"
The three of us spent the next 30 minutes or so, drinking, talking, and laughing. It felt good to let loose.
A blonde boy came up to Violet. He looked to be her age. "Hey, Violet." She turned to face him. "Uh. You want to go dance."
"Sure, Jake!" Violet stumbled out of her seat. She was definitely drunk. But I was too. I wasn't even sure how many drinks I had had.
"Naya. You ok? You want to slow down on those?" Rocco pointed to the cup.
I looked at him. "Yeah. I'm doing greaaaat! Just wonderful. Everything is perfect!" I took another sip.
"Naya. I think you should stop." Rocco tried to reach for my cup, but I pulled it away from him.
"Rocco. I can handle it. And after the past few days, I deserve this." I took the last few drops of the drink."You know what? I'm gonna go dance! See ya." I saluted him and stumbled out of my stool.
I walked through the crowd, trying to find a good place to dance. I was looking to my left and right, but suddenly bumped into someone. I stumbled backward, but they caught my waist. I looked up and was met with the familiar green eyes. Damien.
"Damien!" I grabbed his arm that was holding onto my waist. "Come. Let's dance." I dragged him to an empty space. I put my arms around his neck.
"Naya. You're drunk. We sh-"
"Oh shh." I put my finger on his lips. "Stop being so boring. Here." I grabbed his hands and put them around my waist. I swayed my hips and I felt his grip tighten on me. I looked up at him and found him already staring at me. "What?" I smiled wide. "Is there something on my face?"
"Nothing." Damien bent down and our faces were only a few inches away from each other. He moved his face to my ear and whispered. "You're perfect, darling." Then he kissed my ear, and the feeling sent shivers down my spine. He stood straight again and stared at me.
I leaned into him, resting my head on his chest, closing my eyes, and we slowly danced. That was the last of what I remembered.
