Violet and I were sitting in Damien's office, while the gang had gone out on the mission. Violet was supposed to hack into the cameras and also disable extra security measures in the warehouse where the guns were.

"Violet, are you in?" Damien's voice spoke through the speaker.

"Yeah, the cameras are off, but I'm still trying to turn off the alarms. There are a lot." Violet responded.

"Maybe I should just go up to the guard." I heard the she-devil, Zoe spoke up.

I swear she doesn't know how to shut up.

"NO! Are you stupid? Wait until I disable these," Violet yelled back.

After a few minutes, Violet finally got through.

"Damien, there are three guards at the north and south entrances, and four at the east and west. But your best is the east because there is a more secluded passageway for you to walk through once you knock them out. Once you get in, it's just 2 lefts, 1 right, and 1 more left." I told Damien through the phone.

"Got it," Damien spoke up.

"How do we know her plan is going to work?" Zoe said.

I hope someone "accidentally" pulls the trigger on her.

"Shut the fuck up and stay hidden," Damien said. He started speaking to his guys, telling them where they should go and when to meet back.

It had been almost 3 hours and the gang hadn't come back. We tried communicating with them, but they didn't respond. Violet said not to worry because it happened a lot, but if they don't reach out soon, we should check in on the cameras and stuff.

Violet and I had decided to go back to the apartment because it was getting late, and Vince was closing the bar too.

"Do you think they're ok?" I sat down on the couch.

"Yeah. They've done stuff like this before. But it's taking longer this time, so I'll log onto the cameras." She pulled out her laptop and typed away.

Violet's phone started ringing and she picked it up and put it on speaker. "Violet!"

"Is everything ok, Damien?" She asked.

"We made it and got the stuff, and we're heading back right now. Some guys found us and it was a fight. Everyone on our side made it, but a lot of us were badly injured."

"Ok. Tell everyone to come back to the apartment. We'll get first aid." Violet told him.

30 minutes later, the gang had arrived. The apartment looked like a hospital ward with people laying around, and the smell of antiseptics flowing through the air.

"Rocco. How did this even happen?" I was tending to a big cut he had across his back.

"Some guy jumped me from behind with a knife. It was- AHH!" He yelled out as I applied the antiseptic.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. It's almost done."

Damien walked out into the room, I had told him to go wash up in the bathroom because he had someone else's blood all over him, and I did not want to know what happened.

"Sit down. I'll come to you after Rocco." I pointed to the seat next to Rocco.

"Haha. She's taking care of me before you." Rocco taunted Damien.

"I'd shut up before that cut's not the only wound you have." Damien glared at his best friend and Rocco just stuck his tongue out.

"Ok. You're done. Put your shirt on in a few minutes." I finished putting gauze on the cut.
