I woke up and looked around the room. Our clothes were scattered all around the floor.

I looked behind me as my back was pressed against Damien's chest. I tried to remove his arm from around my waist, but he groaned.

"Damien," I whispered.

"Mmm." He hummed a response.

"Move your hand."

"No."

I tried pulling his hand off, but it wouldn't budge. I really should work out more.

"Damien. Let go of me."

He spun me around so I was facing him.

"Good morning, darling." His eyes were still closed, but he smiled.

"Good morning, you baby." I giggled.

"Round two?" Damien opened his eyes and smirked.

I gasped.

He leaned in, but I pushed him away. "Morning breath."

"I don't care." He whined.

"Well, I do. So let go." I pried his hands off and sat up.

"Don't leave me." Damien grabbed my arm while I was getting out of the bed.

"I'll be back." I stood up but instantly fell back on the bed. "Ohh. My legs." I groaned and turned to see Damien smiling. "Why are you smiling?"

"I guess I did a good job if you can't walk." He had a proud smile on his face.

"I hate you." I glared at him.

"That's not what it sounded like last night, darling. The neighbors could probably attest to it." He winked.

I smacked his chest. "You're mean." I pouted and crossed my arms over my chest.

"I could listen to you moan my name all day. Maybe even make it my ringtone."

"DAMIEN!"

Damien laughed and sat upright. "Come on. Let's get freshened up. We have to go to your apartment today."

He got out of bed and put some pants on. He came over and put his hand out for me. I took it and stood up, slowly walking and groaning at the pain, while Damien just laughed at me.

"Woo. We did it!" I stepped down the last steps of my ex-apartment. The moving truck had taken the last of the furniture which we were keeping back in the storage place. Damien and I were carrying boxes of things I would be bringing back, which was honestly not a lot. I said bye to Marian and Henry but promised I would visit.

"Shall we get lunch?" He asked and I nodded.

We drove to the cafe we had eaten at together the day the incident with Simon had occurred.

"I think I need to go shopping for some more formal clothes," I said while taking a seat.

"We can go to the mall, then," Damien replied.

Our orders came and we dug in since both of us hadn't eaten breakfast in the morning.

Something, or rather someone, caught my eye in front of me, and I nearly started choking on my food.

"Are you ok?" Damien asked as I was still coughing.

I took a sip of water. "Yeah. I'm fine." I put my hand over my mouth, trying to hide the laugh I was suppressing.
