"We're gonna get her back, Lizzie, don't worry." Hope soothes her hyperventilating friend.

"What are we gonna do? She's dangerous-she killed Alyssa!" Lizzie exclaims. "What if she starts to kill other people? MG, Kaleb, you-or me!"

"We won't let her hurt anyone else, ok? I won't let her hurt you." Hope whispers.

Lizzie calms down slightly at that and sighs, leaning her head against Hope's shoulder which makes the tribrid gulp.

"Hope Mikaelson. Always tries to save the day." A taunting voice sighs in mockery from the doorway. "When are you going to realise you can't save everyone?"

"What do you want, Josie?" Hope asks desperately. "What is it you need from us."

"I don't need anything or want anything, I'm simply just the version of Josie she's been afraid to show. The powerful side." She smirks. Lizzie and Hope stand up, Hope subtly pushing Lizzie behind her protectively.

"Why can't we have Josie back?" Lizzie asks.

"I am Josie, silly." Dark Josie smiles sarcastically, tilting her head slightly.

"The real Josie, our Josie." Hope says which makes Josie shrug.

"I don't know, maybe she'll never come back." Josie pouts. "You're stuck with me."

Lizzie trembles slightly which makes Hope grab her hand to calm her nerves.

"You see, I was planning on merging with you, Lizzie." Josie starts and move towards them slightly. "But, your friends would probably make a loop hole and kill me instead, so I can up with another solution." The smile drops from Josie's face and she pulls a gun out of her belt. "I'll just shoot you instead."

Hope goes to announce a spell but Josie beats her to it and the tribrid falls to the floor, unconscious. Lizzie stumbles back as her satanic sister stalks towards her, the gun following her every move until Lizzie hits the wall. A terrified cry falls from Lizzie's lips when Josie places the barrel of the gun against her forehead.

"Much more effective this way, don't you think?" Josie asks, a sinister grin forming on her face.

"Please don't hurt me." Lizzie whimpers, tears cascading down her face. "I'm sorry, just please don't kill me."

"If I kill you, I'll be leader of the coven, more powerful than ever and I won't have you dragging me back. Just like you pulled Josie back all those years. It must be exhausting being so selfish." Josie tuts, pulling the hammer
back of the gun, the click echoing through Lizzie's ears.

"I'll give you my magic, there's a spell for that. You can have my magic and then we won't have to merge, you'll be the leader and have all my powers." Lizzie tells her.

"But I still want to kill you." Josie sighs and rolls her eyes. "Don't you get it? You're the problem. You're the reason Josie can't be happy. You're the reason Josie can't be in a relationship. You're the reason your Mom is never around. You're the reason your dad drinks all the time. You're the reason your parents are so focused on you that they ignore Josie. You're the reason behind your sisters misery." Tears roll down Lizzie's cheeks at the truth falling from Josie's mouth.

Josie is screaming on the inside, begging her evil self to stop. To pull away from Lizzie. To lower the gun. To take back every lie that just came out of her mouth. She watches everything, she watches as Lizzie's face falls, she watches the tears drip down her cheeks, she watches the hope disappear from her sisters eyes. She watches as her sister gives you fighting. She knows her fate.

"Any last words?" Josie asks which makes Lizzie look at her.

"I love you, Josie." Lizzie whispers, shaking in fear.
