Goodbye is the saddest word- Saltzman Twins

"She's not breathing! Jade, she's not breathing!" Alaric panics and presses his hand over Lizzie's wound as blood pours out of it.

Jade vamps into the room and bites her wrist, pressing it to Lizzie's mouth before shutting her eyes, trying to control herself around the blood.

"Come on, Lizzie!" Alaric begs as his daughter lays there unconscious, Jade's blood just lingering on her lips.

"Dr Saltzman, there's nothing I can do. She's gone, I'm so sorry." Jade tells him.

Alaric shakes his head in denial. "She drank vampire blood before, she begged me not to let her die."

"I'm so sorry. She'll come back and then she can feed." Jade offers.

Suddenly, Josie stands up and tilts her head.

"Hello again." She husks at Jade, smirking slightly.

"What happened to you?" Jade asks with wide eyes.

"She did something dangerous with black magic and now she can't recall why." Alaric tells her.

"I must of had a reason," she says loudly, and turns her head to look at her dad before looking back at Jade.

"But it's blank. There's something missing from my memory, or someone."

"Same." Jade frowns and pulls a piece of paper out of her pocket. "I don't know what this is, but I found it in my pocket." She says and hands it to Josie.

"Who's Kai?" Alaric asks.

"The person missing from our memories." Her eyes turn black. "There's a spell affecting my mind, I've felt it before... Malivore."

"You might wanna grab a seat, Jade." Alaric says and sits on a chair.

"Why?" The vampire asks and moves to sit down.
"Trust me."

"Harae-tamai Kioku Yomigaerashi-tamae."

Lizzie weakly gets up off the floor, her skin extremely pale which makes Hope frown in concern.

"Lizzie? What's wrong?" Hope asks and steadies her friend.

"I just need to sit down." She croaks out, breathing heavily.

Hope used her magic to pull a chair closer to them and she helps Lizzie sit down, nervously waiting for the others arrival.

"Are you okay?" Hope asks.

"I'm transitioning." Lizzie whispers which makes Hope's eyes widen in shock.

"I-I'll get you some blood." Hope says and goes to rush off, but Lizzie grabs her hand.

"No."

"But- but you'll die if you don't feed! Hope exclaims.

"I can't handle being a vampire, I'm a witch. I died, I shouldn't be here right now. I believe in the natural order of things and I'm too bipolar to be a vampire, I'm not completing the transition." Lizzie tells her.

Before Hope can argue, there's two more flashes and Alaric and Josie are there. Josie stands up and turns around to reveal she's herself, Lizzie sighs in relief and lets Hope help her up.

"Its me, guys, I'm back." Josie smiles as they hug her, Lizzie tries to hide how shit she feels.

"Dr Saltzman, Landon's in trouble." Hope tells the man who immediately follows her out to the woods.
