You'll be in my heart- Jenny (daughter)

"Hey, baby Boyd." Kaylee smiles at you as you get out of your car.

"Is my Mom here?" You ask, ignoring her greeting.

"Uh no, she's not supposed to get here for another hour." Kaylee replies. "Is everything okay?"

"No. She's not at home and she won't answer my
calls- this isn't like her at all." You say nervously.

"Does she have a doctors appointment or
something?" Kaylee asks.

You shake your head, your eyes filling with fear.
"What if something happened to her?"

Kaylee sees the fear in your eyes and immediately walks over and wraps her arms around you.

"It's okay." Kaylee coos as you whimper against her neck. "I'll try call her."

Kaylee takes her phone out whilst keeping her arms tucked around you. She dials Jenny's number and kisses your head soothingly, but she frowns when it goes to voicemail.

"It didn't go through." She frowns slightly. Jenny
always answers her phone.

Before you can start to freak out again, your phone starts ringing.

"It's an unknown number." You frown in confusion. "Hello?"

"Hi. Is this Y/N Boyd?"

"Uh yeah, it is." You reply, untangling yourself from Kaylee.

"Hi, Y/N, my name is doctor Brooke Connors, from Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. You're listed as Jenny Boyd's emergency contact."

"Is my Mom okay?" You ask worriedly.

"Unfortunately your mother has been
involved in a car accident."

"Oh my god." You whisper in shock.

"She's in emergency surgery at the moment,
but we think it's best if you come down right
now."

"I-I'm on my way." You say shakily before hanging up.

"What? What is it?" Kaylee asks with wide eyes.

You slowly look up at her, tears dripping down your cheeks. "She was in a car accident." You whisper.

Kaylee swallows the lump in her throat and goes to hug you but you stumble away from her.

"I have to go- see her." You mumble.

"You can't drive like this, sweetheart." Kaylee tells you and cups your cheeks. "What hospital is she at?"

"Piedmont Atlanta Hospital." You say numbly.

"Ok, I'll drive you." Kaylee says. "Give your keys."

You shakily hand your car keys to her and let her
guide you round to the passenger seat. She shuts the door and walks around to the drivers side, going to get in but Danielle stops her.

"Kaylee, where are you going?" The younger girl
asks with a frown.

Kaylee looks at her friend, tears filling her eyes.
"Dani, it's Jenny."

"What happened to her?" Danielle asks.

"She was in a car accident." Kaylee whispers. "She's in an emergency surgery right now."

"Oh my god." Danielle gasps. "I-I'll tell Julie a-and
I'll meet you guys there- what hospital is it?"

"Piedmont Atlanta Hospital." Kaylee replies.

"Ok, I'll be there soon."

Kaylee nods before getting into your car and driving off.

Kaylee speeds out of the parking lot in the direction of the hospital.
