7. Likes me

Lee runs upstairs before he dad sees her. "Lydia!" he yells as she's runs up the stairs. "Y-yes" she cringes walking back down to find a girl with her father.

How great.

"This is Emily, she's gonna be staying here awhile" he smiles. Emily holds her hand out to Lee "nice to meet you Lee I've heard so much about you" she smiles. Lyd hated smiley people and as much as she hated her dad she still hated the thought of him being with someone.

"Nice to meet you to" she smiles shaking her hands with a smile. They make small talk before an awkward silence.

"That's a nasty scar ya got there"

Lee's dad looks at her with stirn eyes. "I got it surfing, landed on a sharp rock" Lydia tells her with fear in her eyes. "Hm" Emily says before Lee runs off. 'JJ loves me?' she thinks to herself 'likes you Lee... JJ likes you' she continues in her head.

'Likes me'

Lydia lays back on her bed as her thoughts dance around her head. Did she like JJ? No! No no no, she can't like him, no getting heartbroken we're making it simple. No falling in love, no getting heartbroken. It's simple really.

"Hiya"

Lyd jumps up "what the hell are you doing here!?" she yells at her blonde haired friend. "Your dad let me in, you forgot this" he smiles tossing a sweatshirt at her. "This is yours" she giggles while putting it on. JJ flops down on her bed. "What the hell did you say to get in here?" She asks.

"That id seen you around and found your sweatshirt so I wanted to return it"

"You're full of bullshit Maybank" she laughs. "And you're not?" he asks cocking an eyebrow with a laugh. Lydia groans leaning back "ow" she mumbles. "What? Did he hit you again?"

JJ basically had a meltdown when she got hit "no JJ I'm- ow- on my period" she scoffs while trying to find a comfy position. The boy just kinda sits there "do you uh- need anything?" he asks. "Come sit with me" she smiles knowing that he probably wanted to.

JJ smiles inching closer to her and wrapping his arms around her. "If my dad comes in you gotta move"

"I know"

Lee cuddles into him "ow Lee" he laughs as she accidentally digs her elbow into him" "I don't think you've every called me Lydia" she laughs ignore the fact that she probably bruised his side. "ok Lydia" he says in a weird voice. Lee giggles at his strange manner.

"You have a cute laugh" JJ attempts to flirt. Yes JJ was hot and probably hooks up with a lot of girls but he was AWFUL at talking. "Oh I know" she smirks. "I'm very cute"

JJ kisses her cheek "I hate you" he chuckles. "Love you to Maybank" she smiles as JJs cheeks glow red. She loved messing around with him in a flirty way, it was pretty fun actually. They'd always been close with the cuddling and kissing each other on the cheek but never on the lips.

They make eye contact for a second, not awkward eye contact more like checking each other out. JJ stares at her lips before kissing her. God was he a good kisser. His hands travel up to her cheek before she pulls away and rest her head on his shoulder.

"You ok?" he asks sensing somethings wrong. "If it's because I kiss you it's ok you can say it" JJ adds. Lee's thoughts swirl around. She liked JJ a lot but she couldn't bring herself to date anyone after what Alex did. "Lee" he whispers "you can tell me I won't mind"

"It's not you it's just- nothing JJ I'm ok"

"You sure?"

"Positive"

"ok" he whispers wresting her head on top of hers. They hear the kids run inside "you should go before the blabber mouths say something" she tells him. "Come with me it'll be fun, say your going to Kies house your dad knows Kie"

Lydia smirks "ok ok I'll asks but you gotta go" JJ smiles and hops out the window. Lee skips down the steps saying hello to her siblings. "Hey dad could I go to Kies for the weekend since it's Friday?" she smiles giving him puppy dog eyes. "Ya whatever be back" he groans. "Ok love you bye!" She says grabbing her bag and running out the door where JJ is still standing on the edge of the road.

"Wait up Maybank!" she laughs running up to him. JJ smiles watching the girl run up to him. "Where to?" she asks. "Well where do you wanna go?"

"Mmmm the beach" she smiles. JJ happily agrees and they walk there. When they arrive they lay out the blanket and lay down next to each other.

"Lee"

"Ya JJ"
