"NO JJ YOU WEREN'T THERE!"
Ahhh Friday's.
JJ and Lee had just been working to keep their mind off of things so the only time they saw each other was Friday nights. But that usually ended in a stupid fight.
Raelyn died 2 months ago, a tough 2 months. Whenever JJ and Lee where together tension built up until one of them snapped.
Tonight's fight was about them "not being there" for each other. Which was hella stupid because they where both there just afraid of opening up.
"YOU WHERE OUT ON THE SOUTH SIDE SMOKING WEED ALL DAY" Lydia screams at him from one side of the bed as JJ stands on the other. Her words swirl around his head. Luke said that to him a lot as a kid.
"OH I WASN'T THERE? WHERE WERE YOU LEE? WAIT I DON'T KNOW BECAUSE YOU WONT FUCKING TELL ME!"
These fights weren't abnormal for them. In fact it had become a part of daily life. "DON'T BE STUPID JJ YOU KNOW IM WITH KIARA"
Tears build up in Lee's eyes as the fight continues. "WHERE YOU? OR WHERE YOU LETTING RAFE CAMERON FUCK YOU?" JJ regretted those words the second they left his mouth. How could he be that stupid?
"fuck you JJ"
"I'm sorry Lee I didn't-"
Lydia pushes past him making her way to the bathroom and locking the door behind her. She felt like a coward doing so but she was sure she'd kill JJ if she didn't walk away.
JJ shakes the doorknob frantically trying to get in. "Lee baby, I didn't mean it" JJ says before pressing his ear to the door. Soft sobs come from the bathroom. Fuck.
He hears shuffling before the door swings open. JJs arms wrap around her and he presses a firm kiss on her temple. "look at me Lyd" he says while putting his hands on her cheeks.
The pain in her eyes made him want to cry right then and there. He hurt the girl he loves. "I'm sorry, and I love you. I didn't mean what I said I was just-"
Something cut off his words, it wasn't her talking, or even that he had nothing to say he just... stopped. Staring into her eyes everything came back to him. There was the brunette teen he had fallen in love with so many years ago.
"you ok Jay?" she whispers trying to break the silence. He snaps out of his trance "I just love you" he smiles. They'd been through hell and back together, no one could break JJ and Lee.
Lydia leans in and kisses him sending fireworks through her system. They'd hardly touched each other in weeks.
Well... I bet you know what happens from there.
