27. Wedding Day

A few months later everything was still going good. Raelyn recovered super super well and quickly turned back into the happy go lucky little girl.

"Stay still Lee!" Kiara giggles while doing Lee's makeup. It twas her wedding day! It only took almost 10 years of dating but fuck it here we go. They knew they wanted to spend there lives together so who cared.

Sarah was the ultimate wedding planner so they'd payed her to plan. All the girls including Rae gathered at JJ and Lee's apartment and they boys where at the chateau.

Boys POV

"What if I fuck up? What if she changes her mind? What if-" JJ rambles while adjusting his belt. John B and Pope watch him before cutting him off.

"can you relax? It's gonna be fine" John B groans and slaps his ass. JJ gives him a glare "hey Sarah's gonna bring Rae here once she's ready" Pope interrupts.

After an hour or so a little girls giggles fill the air as she runs towards JJ. "hi princess!" he smiles while picking her up "you look so beautiful"

Rae kisses his cheek, she was always affectionate even at her worst. Her think brown hair had begun to grow back and was already at her shoulders.

" hey kiddo" Pope smiles and bops the side of her head. Today was gonna be a hell of a day.

A few hours later

Being in love was like a drug. It was addictive and you crave that person. JJs eyes light up as he watches Lee walk down the isle in her white dress.

When they finally reach each other JJ whispers in her ear "you look amazing" he smiles. Blah blah blah they say there vows but where more focused on each other.

"you may kiss the bride"

Their lips smash together and fireworks explode in their stomachs. Everyone claps and cheers. This was a dream come true.

Rae had never seen her parents really truly happy. They always been worried about her, even when her cancer was gone they still worried. Her face when she saw how happy they where would probably make a grown man cry.

After parties are well... after parties. Lee being Lee immediately put on sweatpants and a crop top after taking pictures then started her drinking. "wanna dance with me Rae Rae" JJ smiles.

"yes!" she shrieks in excitement. JJ picks her up and holds her in one arm with her hand locking with his in the other.

He sways back and fourth to the music and Lee joins in. They form a little circle together and dance back a fourth. "how did I get so lucky?" JJ shrugs while looking at them both. Lydia laughs "I love you you idiot" she says and kisses him.

"I love you to Mrs Maybank, and you little Maybank"

They where a family and that's all that mattered. Yes they all had different blood but who the hell cares? They're a family and no one could change that.

"ok ok I've got something to say here" John B cockily smirks while tapping the mic. This was gonna be good.

"well shit I've known JJ since I was 9 and Lee since I was 16z When we met Lee we all called dibs on her which is stupid to think about. Umm I'm not sure why she fell for JJs dumbass I think i'm pretty hot. But they've been through hell and back together so I can't blame them. Annnnnyyyywaayyyss, I'm happy for my brother and my best friend. I love you guys AND your kid."

Looking back at everything that ever happened Lee gets a sense of peace. Then it clicked.

She wasn't afraid.
