• Kakashi was always nervous to initiate physical touch in the beginning of the relationship • He oh-so-badly wanted to hold hands wherever you went • But his uncertainty with how you'd respond made him second guess his actions all too much • The most that happened while out and about was his gloved hand brushing against yours • You were so understanding but holy hell did you just want him to grab your hand in his and keep it there • You were the one who initiated the hand holding • Easing him into it was easy • It was another day of walking around the village • Kakashi's hand brushing against your own before you slid your hand in his • He looked at you, nervous his hand was too clammy even with his gloves on • You made him so nervous • With no sign of discomfort from you, Kakashi smiled beneath his mask • From there, he started becoming more comfortable with touch • Hugs are one of his favorite forms of physical touch • He loves to hug you from behind no matter what you're doing • Wraps his arms around you while you're cooking, nuzzling his face in the crook of your neck • Loves to do it in a surprising way when you aren't paying attention • Very rarely does it in public but loves seeing the smile on your face that makes it all worth it • Though, his absolute favorite is the hugs you give him when he returns home from a mission • Despite all the dirt and filth that comes from missions that's on him, you pull him in for a tight hug • One that has him cradle your head in his hand • And he just whispers how he's finally home • He's not an overly emotional person, but being with you after so long brings tears to his eyes as relief washes over him • Cuddling is a thing where you both get something out of it • If you're on the couch he's got an arm around you while he reads his book • He enjoys having you sit on his lap with your arms around him • He'll read to you if you want • You've fallen asleep against him as he's read, his voice being incredibly soothing, even with the content of his books • He loves cuddling with you in bed • Having you be so close brings him a sense of comfort • His favorite is being the little spoon • After a long day - both mentally and physically - he just wants to be held and doted on • Will become a puddle when you play with his hair • Absolutely melts in your touch as he finally is able to relax • Adores the fact that he's able to open up to you after so long • He just loves you so much
