There's only been three occasions where Kakashi has given you flowers over the course of your relationship.
The first time was when he arrived for your first date. He was nervous, hoping to impress you with gestures he'd learned in his books. He almost forgot to give them to you being completely stunned by your appearance. He placed them in front of you once the shaking in his hand stopped.
"For you, I hope you like them."
You just gave him a small smile, completely surprised by the sweet gesture, "Thank you, Kakashi, they're lovely."
The second time was when he returned home from a grueling mission. He'd been gone a lot longer than expected, and despite his experience you couldn't help but think the worst the longer he was gone.
He returned, surprisingly, with minor scrapes and bruises. He made sure to rush over to your place the second he was able to. The second you saw him through the now open doorway, you jumped out of your seat to check him over.
"I'm okay, my love."
"I was so worried about you. I didn't want to think the worst, considering your skill and all, but I couldn't help but getting scared."
Kakashi let out a small chuckle, "Considering how long we've been together, I'd be a bit hurt if you weren't worried at all. I'm sorry for scaring you, but I'm here now. That's all that matters right now."
The flowers he got you remained forgotten for the time being as Kakashi held you in his arms. Flowers were nice, but nothing beat being held by him.
The third time was on your anniversary. Kakashi always surprised you with romantic gestures, but saved the really cheesy stuff for anniversaries. He'd left early the morning of, leaving you to wake up alone. You heard the door open as you got out of bed, smiling when Kakashi greeted you with a kiss.
"Where did you run off too so early in the morning?"
"Had something to pick up. Come with me."
He led you out of the bedroom, leading you to the gifts he got for you in the other room.
"Kakashi, you didn't have to get me anything."
"I wanted too. This one is first."
He handed you a single rose, pink tinting his cheeks as he spoke, "See, this one flower represents my love for you."
You were confused, seeing as the flowers Kakashi got you sadly never lasted that long. You were starting to worry that this meant his love for you might run out someday, until you looked closer. The flower was made from plastic, meaning it would never die.
"I'm gonna ignore the scare you just gave me for the fact that this is extremely sweet."
He smiled, "You don't have to worry, [Y/N], I'm not going anywhere."
