Time passed by and soon it was evening. My phone rang, the call was from an unknown number but I knew who it is so smiled. 

Reem: Phir se tere mysterious caller ka phone aaya hai? { Your mysterious called again?}

I hummed and picked up the phone.

AD: Hello.

Avu: Kya baat hai, aaj khud call kiya hai. Lagta hai free ho. { Wow, you called by yourself today, looks like you are free.}

AD: Ha. Sun, mai tere ghar ke bahar hu, andar aa sakta hu? { Yes. Listen, I am outside your home, can I come in?}

Avu: Mere saare dost mere sath hall mein baithe hai. Kal pehla din hai job ka isliye celebration rakha tha sabne mere aur Siddharth ke liye. { All my friends are in the hall with me. Tomorrow is the first day of job so all had kept a celebration for me and Siddharth.}

AD: Maine mask aur glasses pehen rakhe hai. { I am wearing mask and glasses.}

Avu: Ok, mai aati hu. Aur bell mat bajana, kharab hai. { Ok, I'll come. And don't ring the bell, it is not working.}

AD: Thik hai. { Ok.}

He cut the call.

Jai: Woh idhar hai? { He is here?}

Avu: Ha.

I went and opened the door and was pulled into a hug immediately. After pulling away, I smiled widely.

Avu: Cheshma do na. Koyi bhi aankho se nahi pehechan sakta. { Give me the glasses no. No one can identify by eyes.}

AD: Par Avu... Thik hai. { But Avu... Ok.}

He removed his glasses and gave it to me. I wore it making him chuckle. I held his hand as we went inside and reached the hall when my head started paining. I looked up to see Jai staring at him and even he was staring at Jai. Others were looking at him confused.

Avu: Mer...

Before I could complete, everything went black, not before I felt dad's hold on my hand tighten. I woke up to see all looking at me with concern, while I was lying on the sofa.

AD: Avu, tu thik hai beta? { Avu, are you fine?}

He was still wearing his mask, so no one identified him, except Jai I think.

Avu: Ha mai thik hu. { Yes I am fine.}

Just then Abhi came and sat beside me.

Abhi: Avu, tu theek hai? Tujhe kitni baar bola hai aisi halat mein apna dhyan rakha kar. { Avu, are you fine? How many times I've said you to take care of yourself in this condition.}

Avu: Sorry. Agli baar se dhyan rakhungi. { Sorry. I'll be careful next time onwards.}

He nodded before getting up. But when I saw the look on dad's face, I understood he heard Abhi. I gave him a look that I'll say you later, making him nod.

Fais: Avu, yeh kaun hai, aur aapne mask kyu pehna hai? { Avu, who is he, and why are you wearing a mask?}
