Chapter 33

Abhi: Woh chup kyu hai? { Why is she quiet?}

Avu: Unhe Sid ne mere kehne par bola ki aap unse waisa pyaar nahi karte ho. { On me asking him to, Sid said her that you don't love her in that way.}

Abhi nodded. They both were remembering the incident because of which everything had changed, Abhi was broken with Vaish becoming the reason, Avu not only moved on from Arhaan but also started hating him, Abhi and Arhaan's friendship also broke. They came back to present when they heard a knock. Avu went and opened it to see Vaish. 

Vaish: Avu, Reem aa gayi hai. { Avu, Reem has come.}

Avu immediately ran outside, forgetting about Abhinavi. Here Vaish was about to close the door when she saw Abhi. 

Vaish: Abhay, tum yaha? { Abhay, you here?}

Abhi looked at her. Vaish said him to come downstairs. He went with her to see Fainat and Sidjeet already there. He also sat down, guessing all are waiting for Reemneet. Soon they both also came. 

Avu: Suno suno suno, ek good news hai. { Listen listen listen, there is a good news.}

All looked at her. 

Avu: Par woh mai nahi batane wali hu, woh Jai aur Reem batane waale hai. { But I am not going to say it, Jai and Reem are going to.} 

Jai: We both are dating. 

Fainat looked at them in shock but congratulated them anyways. 

Abhi: Congrats. 

Sid: Dada, aapko pata tha? { Dada, you knew?}

Abhi: Hmm. Poore din deewani bani phirti hai yeh ladki. { Hmm. This girl keeps roaming like a mad person the entire day.}

Reem didn't know to get angry or blush at his words. Suddenly Sid came from behind and lifted Reem making her shout while everyone laughed. He dropped her on the sofa when she asked him to, literally dropped her. 

Reem: Aise kaun uthatake patakta hai? { Who picks and drops someone like this?}

Sid: Tera bhai. { Your brother.}

Reem: Avu sahi kehti hai tu bandar hai. { Avu is right you are a monkey.}

Avu: Mujhe lagta tha ki saari craziness Reem mein hi hai, par aaj pata chala ki uska bhai bhi kam nahi hai. { I thought all the craziness is in Reem, but now I understood her brother is no less.}

Sid: Kam toh kuch jangli billiya bhi nahi hai. { Even few wild cat's are no less.}

Avu: Kya kaha tune mujhe? { What did you say about me?}

Sid: Maine toh jangli billiya bola, iska matlab hai tu manti hai ki tu jangli billi hai. { I had said wild cats, this means you accept you are a wild cat.}

Avu: Mai toh bhul hi gayi thi bandaro ke paas dimaag nahi hota. { I had forgotten that monkeys don't have brains.}

Sid: Mere paas dimaag hai. { I have a brain.} 

Avu: Dekh tune bhi maan liya ki tu bandar hai. { Look you also accepted you are a monkey.}

Sid: Meri trick mujh par hi use ki ja rahi hai? Nakalchi jungli billi. { You are using my trick on me only? Copy wild cat (copy cat+wild cat).}

Avu: Tu toh gaya ab. { You are gone now.}

Sid: Tu toh gaya ab. { You are gone now.}

He said, mimicking her, causing her to get more angry. And she started chasing him around, while others just laughed, not stopping them knowing they'll stop after sometime. Here Sid reached Avu's room and went inside, and jumped onto the bed, causing her to jump after him, and now both were running on the bed. Suddenly Avu's leg got stuck in the bedsheet and she was going to fall down when Sid caught her from her waist, but she still fell down, with Sid on top of her. Luckily Sid's hands were around her waist and under her head so she didn't get hurt and both were lost in each other, their hearts beating faster due to them running and being very close to each other. They were brought back to senses by someone's footsteps. Sid tried getting up, but Avu's hair were stuck in his shirt's button. They both got up somehow, and Avu tried removing her hair. Just then Jaan came there. 

Jaan: Kya hua tum dono ko? { What happened to you both?}

Avu: Mere baal iske shirt ke button mein atak gaye hai, aur hum dono se nikal hi nahi rahe hai. { My hair got stuck in his shirt's button, and we are not able to remove it.}

Jaan went and tried removing the hair, while Sidneet were once again having an eye lock, forgetting about Jaan. She finally removed the hair from the button, and looked up to see both of them lost in their own worlds, or that's what she thought, so she shook them. 

Jaan: Kaha khoye hue ho dono? { Where are you both lost?}

Sidneet: Kahi nahi. { Nowhere.}

They went downstairs, while Avu was lost in her thoughts. 

Avu's POV: 

What is happening to me, whenever I look into Sid's eyes, I feel like drowning in them, whenever he comes close, I can feel goosebumps...

Her thoughts were broken when she heard everyone except Sidshek shout her name together. 

Avu: Sab ek saath mera naam kyu chilla rahe ho? { Why are you all shouting my name together?}

Reem: Hum sab tujhe tabse bulane ki koshish kar rahe hai. { We all are trying to call you since so long.}       

Avu: Sorry mera dhyan nahi tha, bulaya kyu? { Sorry my mind wasn't here, why were you calling?}

Sid: Hume office jana hoga, kuch urgent kaam hai. { We have to go to office, there is an urgent work.}
