Chapter 45

Sid remained quiet, not knowing what to answer, the question was just like a salt to his wounds. How could he answer this question when it is asked from the girl he loved? While Avu was waiting for his answer though she knew the answer would hurt her. If he said yes, then it would obviously hurt her that he loves someone else, but if he said no, there was no chance at all of him loving her. But Sid chose a third option, which confused her. 

Sid: I can't answer that. 

Avu had expected a yes or a no, but his answer had left the question answered, yet unanswered. 

Avu: Thik hai. { Ok.}

Sid: Tu? { You?}

Avu: Mera wahi jawab hai jo tumhara hai. { My answer is same as yours.} 

Sid: Ok. 

They were simply walking, when their phones buzzed. They took it out to see it was a message from the office. 

Tomorrow the office will remain closed.    

Avu: Wow, tab toh hum kal hi apna plan kar sakte hai. { Wow, then we can do our plan tomorrow itself.}

Sid: Ha. Mai kal subah dada se baat kar lunga, agar wo meri jaan na le toh. { Yes. I will talk to dada tomorrow, that is if he doesn't kill me.}

Avu: Abhi tumhari jaan kyu lenge? { Why will Abhi kill you?}

Sid: Unko jaldi uthane ke liye. { For waking him up early.}

Avu: Oh ha, unko aur Reem ko jaldi uthna bilkul bhi pasand nahi hai. { Oh yeah, he and Reem don't like getting up early at all.}

Sid: Hmm. 

Then they both went back home. Next day they did everything according to the plan, and the location was ready. Now the only thing left was for Avu to convince Vaish.

Avu: Mai andar aa jau? { Can I come in?}

Vaish: Avu, aa na. Puch kyu rahi hai? { Avu, come no. Why are you asking?}

Avu went and sat beside her. 

Avu: Vaishu, ek ladki ek baar kutte se bhaag rahi thi, tab Abhi ne usko us kutte se bachaya tha. Wo ladki Abhi se pyaar karne lagi hai. Aur dono kaafi wakt se mil rahe hai. Abhi jante nahi hai ki wo ladki unse pyaar karti hai. Aur wo aaj Abhi ko propose karne waali hai. { Vaishu, once a girl was running from a dog, and Abhi had saved her from that dog. She has started loving Abhi now. And they both are meeting since quiet long. Abhi doesn't know that the girl loves him. And she is going to propose him today.}

Vaish: KYA? { WHAT?}

Hearing that someone is going to propose Abhi, she forgot that this was how she had met Abhi, meaning Avu was talking about her only. 

Avu: Hmm. Aur Abhi pehle hi aap unse pyaar nahi karte sochte hai. Agar unhone us ladki ko ha boldiya toh, aapse move on karne ko. { Hmm. And Abhi thinks you don't love him. He many say yes to her, to move on from you.}

Vaish: Par mai Abhi se pyaar karti hu. { But I love Abhi.}

Avu: Kabhi unhe bataya aapne? { Did you ever tell this to him?}

Vaish realized what Avu meant. 

Vaish: Mai Abhi ko propose karu, us ladki se pehle? { I should propose Abhi, before that girl?}
