Chapter 54

Just then Wasooli came in the kitchen, taking their attention. 

Avu: Mai ise khana de deti hu. { I'll give him his dinner.}  

Sid: Mai deta hu. { I'll give.}

Avu: Thik hai. { Ok.}

She continued with the dinner while Sid took Wasooli's food, and took him outside. After few minutes Sid came back. 

Sid: Avu, kal mujhe office jana hai ya hotel? { Avu, tomorrow I have to go to the office or hotel?} 

Avu: Dono hi nahi, papa ke office jana hai.  { None, you have to go to dad's office.}

Sid: Thik hai. { Ok.}

After sometime the food was ready, so they called everyone for dinner. They all were having dinner when Avu nudged Sid's elbow and he looked at her. She eyed towards everyone, and he understood what she meant and nodded. 

Sid: Uh, mujhe kuch batana tha. { Uh, I have to say you all something.} 

All of them looked at him. 

Sid: Abse mai Nandra Designers ki jagah AS hotel mein kaam karne wala hu. { I'll be working in AS hotel instead of Nandra Designers now on.} 

Everyone except Jaineet were shocked. 

Vaish: Par waha tak pahuchna toh bahut mushkil hai, waiter banne ke liye bhi. Tu kaise pahuch gaya? Kya karega waha par? { But it's very difficult to reach there, even to work as a waiter. How did you get a chance? What will you be doing?} 

Avu: Head chef.  

Reem: KYA? Tum dono mazak kar rahe ho na? Us position par pahuchne ke liye mahine lag jaate hai, unke boss ko har kisi ka khana nahi pasand aata hai. { WHAT? You both are joking right? It takes months to reach there, the boss doesn't likes everyone's food.}

Avu: Abhi finalized nahi hai, Sid uske liye hi ja raha hai kal. { It is not finalized yet, Sid will be going for it tomorrow.} 

All were still shocked, except Sidneet and Jai. 

Jai: All the best, I hope tu select ho jaye. { All the best, I hope you'll get selected.}

Sid smiled at him. 

Sid: Thanks. 

Fais: Waise Avu, tune aur Reem ne jagah kyu badli hai? Tu humesha Abhi aur mere beech baithti hai aur Reem Sid aur Jaan ke. { Avu, why have you and Reem exchanged places today? You always sit between me and Abhi while Reem sits between Sid and Jaan.}

Avu: Aise hi. Aaj Sid ke saath baithne ka man kiya. { Simply. I felt like sitting with Sid today.}

Abhi looked at her, to see her already looking at him. She raised her eyebrows, he shook his head, so she looked away. Sid was also looking at Abhi, but sighed when Abhi shook his head. They started picking up the dishes. 

Abhi: Avneetay. 

She ignored him and went in the kitchen, but he also wouldn't give up. They both were the most stubborn people. Abhi looked at Sid, who just shrugged. Others were confused on why was Avu ignoring Abhi. 

Sid: Aap maan jao, wo khud maan jayegi. { You agree, she'll also agree.}

Abhi: Tu kaise maan gaya? Wo apna room de rahi hai, upar se Nandra dance studio. { How did you agree? She is giving her room, upon that Nandra dance studio.}

Sid: Wo Vaishu ya Reem ke saath reh legi, aur kuch hi din ki toh baat hai. Aur aap jab khudka studio itna successfully chala sakte ho, toh waha bhi kaam kar sakte ho. Itna acha toh karte ho dance. { She'll live with Vaishu or Reem, and it's only about few days. And when you can run your own studio successfully, then you can work there also. You dance so well.}

Abhi: Nahi. { No.}

Sid: End mein aapko hi maan na hoga. { In the end it's you who'll have to listen.}

After that they all went to their rooms, except Avu who as usual went to terrace. Abhi also went there. 

Abhi: Avu, tum dono samjh kyu nahi rahe ho, tujhe adjust karna padega, taki mai bacho ko sikha saku? Aur mai utna talented bhi nahi hu ki Nandra dance studio mein accept ho jau. {Avu, why aren't you both understanding that you'll have to adjust so that I can teach the children? And I am not so talented also that I can be accepted in Nandra dance studio.}

Avu: Isme adjust karne ka kya hai, rahungi toh is ghar mein hi. Aur aap itna acha dance karte ho, phir kyu khudko kam samajh rahe ho? Samajhne ki zarurat aapko hai. { There is nothing to adjust in this, I'll stay in this home only. And you dance so well, then why are you thinking so low of yourself? It's you who has to understand.} 

Abhi: Par Avu... { But Avu...}

Avu: Jab tak aap ha nahi bolte, mujhe baat nahi karni hai. {I don't want to talk with you till you agree.}

She went back to her room and slept. Abhi also went to his room and slept. Next day during breakfast, 

Avu: Sid, mai tujhe drop karke chali jaungi. { Sid, I'll drop you and go.}

Sid: Hmm. 

They both left. In evening, Avu came back home, to be lifted in air by Sid, as he twirled her. 

Sid: Sir ne ha bol diya. { Sir said yes.}

Avu smiled as she hugged him. 

Avu: Congrats. 

Abhi: Avu, bache Monday aa sakte hai? { Avu, can the children come from Monday?}

Her smiled widened as she now hugged Abhi. 

Avu: Finally maan gaye aap. Aapke auditions ki baat mai kar lungi. Abhi hum chaaro milkar mera room set kar dete hai. { Finally you agreed. I'll talk about your auditions. Now we four are setting my room.} 

Abhi: Ok, ja. {Ok, go.} 

Avu went to Vaishu's room and said her everything then they went to Reem's room  and then Jaan's room. She was shifting in Vaishu's room. Within 1 and half hour.. They went downstairs to the boys. 

Avu: Abhi, room set kar diya poora, ab aapko jo rakhna hai, waha rakh lo. Aur bistar aap chaaro shift kar dena { Abhi, the room is ready, you can keep whatever you want there. And you four shift the bed.} 

Abhi: Ok. 

They had told Fais and Jai also about it. 

Avu: Ab mai auditions ke baare mein baat karke aati hu, Sid tu bhi chal. { Now I'll go and talk about the auditions, Sid you also come.}

They both went and talked with AD. The auditions were after 2 weeks. Right now Vaishneet were in Vaishu's room. 

Vaish: Chutki, tu itni secretive kyu ho gayi hai? Kayi baar lagta hai ki hum tujhe jaante hi na ho, aisa koyi nahi hai jise tere saare secrets pata ho. { Chutki, why did you become so secretive? Many times it feels like we don't even know you, there is no one who knows all your secrets.} 

Avu: Hai ek jan, Sid. Wo sab kuch pata laga leta hai, isliye toh use chalaak bandar bolti hu. Bas 1 cheez nahi janta. { There is one person, Sid. He finds out everything, the reason I call him intelligent monkey. There is only 1 thing that he doesn't know.}
