Chapter 31

I was in my room, when I texted Ashu. 

Avu: Hey, Ashuuuuuuuuuuuuu.

Ashu: Hey Muskuuuuuuuuuuuu.

Avu: Tu soya nahi? { You didn't sleep?} 

Ashu: Sone hi wala tha, par tera message dekh kar saari neend ud gayi. Pehle roz baat karte the, ab toh kabhi kabhi hi ho paati hai baat. { I was about to sleep only, but all my sleep went away seeing your message. Earlier we used to talk everyday, but now we are able to talk sometimes only.}

Avu: Exactly. Par baat karte wakt sab bhool jaate hai. { Exactly. But while talking we forget everything.}

Ashu: Hmm. 

End of POV. 

Sid's POV: 

I was feeling very sleepy, and went to my room after dropping Ari. I saw that Muskan had messaged me, and all my sleep went away. We both were chatting till late. Then I went to sleep. Next morning Reem came to wake me up. 

Reem: Sid, uth. { Sid, wake up.}

Sid: Sone de na. { Let me sleep no.}

Reem: Nahi, uth tu office ke liye late ho jayega. { No, wake up you'll get late for office.}

I got up, and went to get ready. I went to the hall after that, at the same time Avu also came. 

Abhi: Aa gaye dono. Aaj itna late kyu uthe ho? { Both of them came. Why did you wake up so late?}

Sidneet: Kal raat ko bahut late ho gaya sone mein. { It got very late in sleeping yesterday night.}

Fais: Par sab time se hi gaye the. { But all had gone on time.}

Sidneet: Mai baat kar rah... { I was talkin...}

I immediately stopped, realising they don't know who is Muskan. 

Sidneet: Office ke liye late ho raha hai. { It is getting late for office.}

We looked at each other, why are we giving the same answers together? Anyways, after that we went to office and the day went by, and luckily I had done most of my work, the rest I can complete tomorrow. I went towards my car and waited, but Avi didn't come. I went to her place, but she wasn't there as well. Just then I saw Arhaan. 

Arhaan: Tu abhi tak yaha hai? { You are still here?}

Sid: Tune Avni ko dekha hai kahi? Mil nahi rahi hai kahi. { Have you seen Avi anywhere? I am not able to find her anywhere.}

Arhaan: Nahi, maine toh nahi dekha. Usko phone kiya? { No, I didn't see her. Did you call her?}

Sid: Ha, par woh utha nahi rahi hai. Ari gayi kya? { Yes, but she is not picking the call. Did Ari leave?}

Arhaan: Mujhe nahi pata. { I don't know.}

I called Ari and she picked it. 

Ari: Hello bhai. 

Sid: Ari, tu ghar pahuch gayi? { Ari, you reached home?}

Ari: Nahi, mai aur Avi bahar aaye hue hai na. Usne bataya nahi aapko? { No, I and Avu have come out. She didn't tell you?}

Sid: Nahi, mai usi ko dhund raha tha. { No, I was searching her only.}

Ari: Avi, le, tere boyfriend ka call. { Avu, take, your boyfriend's call.}

I blushed hearing it, but then remembered she is dada's girlfriend, so I can't have feelings for her, though I am already in love with her. I heard her say its nothing like that. 

Avu: Hello Sid?

Sid: Tune bataya kyu nahi jaane se pehle? Mai kabse dhund raha hu. { Why didn't you inform me before going? I was searching you since so long.}

Avu: Arre mera phone chal nahi raha hai, isliye mai call nahi kar payi. Aur mere dimaag mein aaya hi nahi ki Ari ke phone se kar sakti hu. { My phone is not working, that's why I couldn't call. And it didn't come to my mind that I can call from Ari's phone.} 

Sid: Tu kab aayegi ghar? { When will you come home?}

Avu: Dhai ghante mein. { In two and half hours.}

Sid: Thik hai. { Ok.}

I cut the call. 

Arhaan: Kya bola Ari ne? { What did Ari say?}

Sid: Woh aur Avni sath mein hi hai. { She and Avni are together only.}

Arhaan: Ok. Ab ghar ja. { Ok. Now go home.}

Sid: Ha, bye. 

He is always in a hurry to make sure everyone has gone. I reached home and only dada was at home, as expected. I went to his room to see him sitting there, lost in his thoughts. 

Sid: Hello dada. 

Abhi: Hello, tu kab aaya? { Hello, when did you come?}

Sid: Abhi just. Aap yaha baithe baithe kya kar rahe ho? { Just now. What are you doing sitting here?}

Abhi: Kuch bhi nahi. Tera project kaisa chal raha hai? { Nothing. How is your project going on?}

Sid: Almost ho gaya hai, kal poora ho jayega. Aapka studio kaisa chal raha hai? { It is almost done, it will be completed by tomorrow. How about your studio?}

Abhi: Waise toh sab thik hai, par mujhe tension is baat ki hai ki Jai studio aur hospital sathme kaise handle karega? { Everything is fine, but I am worried that how will Jai handle studio and hospital together?}

Sid: Woh karlega, aap zyada chinta mat karo uski. { He'll do, you don't worry so much about that.}   

Afterall he got qualities from his father. 

Abhi: Acha Sid, tu aur Vaish bhi ek baar studio aana. Tum dono aaj tak nahi aaye ho.  { Sid, you and Vaish also come to studio once. You both have never come.}

Sid: Hmm. Aur Avu Ari ke saath bahar gayi hai. Aane mein thoda time lagega. { Hmm. And Avu has gone out with Ari. It will take sometime to return.}

He hummed. I then went to my room and lied down. First time I fell in love, but with two girls. One, I have never met, and never will. And second one, she is my brother's girlfriend. I love her so much, that sometimes I feel that my own brother is becoming my love story's villain, though it can be the other way round if I don't control my feelings. Just then my phone rang, it was Reem. 

Reem: Sidddddd, I am so happyyyyyyyyyy. Jai ne finally mujhe propose kiya, aur ab mai uski gf hu. { Sidddddd, I am so happyyyyyyyyyy. Jai finally proposed me, and now I am his gf.}

Sid: Wow, congrats. Jai hai tere sath? { Wow, congrats. Is Jai with you?}

Reem: Nahi, mujhe hospital aana pad gaya tha, patient ko check karne. { No, I had to come to the hospital, to check a patient.}
