Chapter 69

After 3 days: Now only 2 days were left, and Sid was proposing Avu today. Right now he was waiting for her, as she had gone to take a bath after coming from office. After few minutes she came out. 

Avu: Ab batao kya bolna tha? { Now say what you wanted to say?}

She asked while drying her hair. 

Sid: Mai puchne aaya tha bahar chalegi? { I had come to ask do you want to go out?}

Avu: Mai bhi yeh poochne waali thi, maine bhi plan bana rakha tha. { Even I wanted to ask that, even I had planned something.}

She had also planned a proposal for him, and they didn't know they had planned it on the same place, on same time. After all, they have similar choices. They were confused on where to go now. They decided to go where Avu was saying first. They left soon, and Abhinavi understood that one of them is going to propose today. They reached the place, and Sid thought she knew where he is taking her, and wanted to surprise him. They went inside, and on one side it was Sid's photo  with everyone his parents, dadi, all their friends and Ella. On the other side it was Avu's with her real parents, Nandras, their friends and Claire. They reached the final spot, which was decorated with roses. They both without seeing kneeled down on one knee, and were shocked seeing the other person on a knee. They both chuckled. They stayed silent, waiting for the other to say, then said at the same time, when the other one stayed quiet. 

Sidneet: I love you, will you be mine? 

Sidneet: Yes. 

They both stood up. 

Avu: Finally ab hum bf gf hai par hum dono ne hi propose kar liya. { Finally we are bf gf but we both proposed each other.}

Sid: Exactly. 

Avu: Tumne family pictures kyu lagayi? { Why have you put family pics?}

Sid: Kyunki tumko ab meri family mai promotion mila hai. Bestie se to be Mrs. Avneet Kaur Nigam ka. Aur tumne? { As you have got promotion in my family. From my best friend to to be Mrs. Avneet Kaur Nigam. And you?}

Avu: Kyunki tumhe bhi meri family mein promotion mila hai. Aur jaisa tune kaha, mai tumhari bestie se to be  Mrs. Avneet Siddharth Nigam ban gayi hu. { You also got promotion in my family. And like you said, from your bestie I have become to be Mrs. Avneet Siddharth Nigam.}

He kissed her forehead, as they both smiled. After staying there for sometime they both went home, to find Abhinavi waiting for them. 

Abhinavi: Kisne kisko propose kiya? { Who proposed whom?}

Avu: Wo toh actually... { That actually...}

She looked at Sid. 

Sid: Aap khud hi dekh lo. { You can see it yourself.}

He forwarded his phone, where the proposal was recorded from start. They knew that it will be a great memory, so had asked the decorators to keep a camera there, and had got it transferred to their mobiles. Abhinavi were speechless seeing the video and just looked at each other. Others noticed the four there and went to them. 

Jaan: Kya kar rahe ho aap chaaro? { What are you four doing?}

Reem: Aur aise kyu dekh rahe ho ek dusre ko Abhi aur Vaish? { Why are you looking at each other like that Abhi and Vaish?}

Avu: Mera aur Sid ka proposal dekh kar. { Because of seeing mine and Sid's proposal.}

Sid: Wahi se aa rahe hai hum dono. { We both came back from there only.}

All 4: Congrats, but kisne kisko kiya? { Congrats, but who proposed whom?}

Sidneet looked at each other, and Avu forwarded her phone to them. 

Vaish: Yaar, tum dono na sachme is dharti ke praani nahi ho. { You both are really not the creatures of this Earth.}

Jai: Exactly, ek hi time par dono ne propose karliya. { Exactly, both proposed at the same time.}

Sid: Ab humne aisa jaan bhuj kar toh kiya nahi. { We didn't do this purposefully.}

Avu: Hum dono ne same place, timings aur ideas soche the, isliye aisa hua. { We both had thought of the same place, timings and ideas so this happened.}

Reem: Iska audio band kyu hai? { Why is the audio off?}

Sid: Hum audio record nahi kar paaye. { We couldn't record the audio.}

Avu: Acha hua. { It happened for good only.}

She said in a low voice, due to which no one except Sid heard her, and he smiled, knowing she said it because of the part where they had said reason behind putting family photos. 

Reem: Acha, sabki tayari ho gayi trip ke liye? { Ok, so is everyone prepared for the trip?} 

Abhi: Kal ka pura din hai na. { We have tomorrow's whole day no.}

Reem: Aaj ki toh shaam ho gayi hai. Aur kal baaki sab khareedne bhi toh jana hai, aur phir wo bhi rakhna hai. { It's almost evening of today. And tomorrow we have to go to buy the required stuff and pack that also.}

Jaan: Ho jayega, chinta mat kar. Aur Abhi aise hi bol rahe hai, sabki tayari ho gayi hai, bas sab khareedna hai, aur rakhna hai. { Everything will be done, don't worry. And Abhi said it simply, everyone is prepared, just few things are yet to be bought and kept.}

They talked for some more time before having dinner and going to sleep, but today Avu was sleeping in Jai's room, like she had been doing since the day they came from the doctor, due to her wound, which had healed till yesterday, and today because Vaish was sleeping with Abhi. She had directly gone to sleep as she was tired, and Jai was texting Reem. On Friday they all sat in the two cars and went to the spot. It looked like some forest area. Two days they were spending there, and third day in an amusement park. They reached there by around 1pm, as they had left after breakfast. They set up their tents, except Jaan who was sharing one with Avu and Reem who was sharing with Vaish. After that they all were in tents for sometime, and had their lunch there only, before meeting outside.
