It's difficult to put yourself out there when you know you have the capabilities to harm another human being without blinking. You didn't ask to be a djinn; you were born of it. Your entire family was killed because they refused to keep a low profile and only take what they needed to survive. You were only a baby when they were killed, and you were placed in the foster system.

No one has any clue as to what you could do because you've always kept it hidden from humans. Yes, you have to feed on human blood to survive, but you work at your local hospital so you can take almost expired blood from the blood bank to survive. No one is going to miss a few bags that are very close to expiring. It's not an ideal way to live, but it's one you get to live because hunters aren't after you.

You've made it almost thirty years without attracting hunters, and you're not going to start now.

It's why you decided to do online dating instead of going out and meeting people. It's just easier to hide behind a screen than to put all your vulnerabilities on a pedestal for all to see. You've been talking with this guy who goes by the name of Impala67. He doesn't have any pictures, but he comes across as such an amazing guy. He's asked to meet you face-to-face because you've been talking for quite some time now.

You're really nervous and excited to finally meet the man of your dreams, more nervous than you care to admit. It's why you haven't gone inside the restaurant yet. You're overthinking about who this guy might be or what he might look like. You don't like to judge others on their looks, but what if he isn't who he says he is? He wrote that he is wearing a maroon button-down shirt with dark jeans. He said he would be at the table in the right corner of the restaurant.

You're nervously bunching your dress in your hands, but you smooth the fabric over your legs before taking a deep breath. You can do this. He won't know what you truly are. You can go on one date. It won't kill you.You grasp the handle of the door and head inside, scanning the area for the man in maroon. As soon as you see him, your eyes widen in fear. This date may not kill you, but he certainly will.

Dean Winchester, one of the deadliest hunters, is sitting there waiting for you. You should have known that Impala67 is Dean Winchester–it's in the name. He will kill you if he even has a hint about what you are. You turn to leave when you hear your name being called by him.

"Y/N?" he asks and stands up.

Well, here goes nothing. You turn to face him with a smile.

"You must be Impala67."

"Call me Dean," he chuckles. He leads you over to the table and you both take a seat. You're more nervous than before, but your excitement has faded into slight fear. "Are you okay?"

"Never better," you smile.

You have to get through this one date and never return to this city no matter how cute Dean may be. He's not worth your life.
