"Are you sure you don't want to come with me? It'll be fun," you said to Dean as you perched yourself on his door frame.

"Am I sure I don't want to go with you to visit your parents on a farm for the weekend? Yes, I'm sure," Dean shook his head but didn't look at you.

"Come on, Dean," you walked into his room and took a seat on his bed, "it'll be fun. We can give Sam some time alone and my parents love you. Plus, we haven't had time to ourselves for a while. It'll only be two days."

Dean sighed and rolled his head back in "annoyance". Smiling widely, you knew that he would cave in. "Fine, I guess it won't be so bad."

"Yay!" you jumped up in excitement. "Pack because we're leaving in 20 minutes."

"I'm only doing this for you, you know," he said but you could see the grin behind his words.

"You love me," you winked and left his room, making Dean chuckle and shaking his head.

"That I do," he muttered to himself and got his bag ready. 20 minutes later, you were saying goodbye to Sam and getting into the car with Dean. You were so excited to see your parents for the weekend. They didn't know about you hunting. But they did know you lived with Sam and Dean in an underground bunker. They've never visited for safety reasons but you always tried to visit them.

Dean has met them a couple of times, and they always said how handsome he was, how polite he was. Those were only a few of the many reasons you fell in love with Dean. You two have been dating for well over 2 years, and you both decided to take it slow. It was more comfortable for you that way, knowing that you were going to be alright in a relationship where you didn't rush it.

Sure, you had your downs as much as you had your ups, but Dean was the perfect boyfriend. He knew you more than you knew yourself, in more ways than one. When you needed your space, he would give it to you, only approaching you when he knew you would be ready. He cooked you breakfast every single day, knowing exactly what you ate and what you didn't. His arms would hold you tightly at night, protecting you from the outside world.

It was a good thing you both were hunters, otherwise, your relationship wouldn't work as well as it has. Sam has supported you through and through, making him a great best friend. The only reason why you weren't married to Dean was because of the hunting life. You two could never find the right time to get it done.

Marriage has been on Dean's mind for the past year, but the timing had never been right. He had a ring, he knew what he wanted to say, but he could never find the perfect time. He wanted nothing but the best for you and maybe while you two were away, he could do it then. He's been trying to be the best boyfriend he could be and becoming a fiance and a husband made him nervous as hell. However, when he pictured those things with you, he knew it would be okay, that everything would work itself out.

The drive to your parent's house didn't take long, and when you two arrived, your parents were waiting for you with smiles on their faces.

"Mom! Dad!" you exclaimed when you got out. Running to them, you gave each a big hug.
