"And he just lays there and... dreams?" You asked your brother, staring at Dean's sleeping form.

"Yes, but we should go. Dean doesn't like it when people are in his room." Castiel said, shifting from one foot to the other.

"Why do they need sleep? We don't sleep." You asked, not taking your eyes off Dean's face.

"We're Angels. We don't need sleep. Humans do. They need to rest in order for their bodies to store up energy." Castiel explained. It was true, you were Castiel's sister and also an Angel. You've only been to earth and handful of times but that was way before humans started roaming it. You've stayed in Heaven most of the time, listening to the stories Castiel would tell you when he visited home. You've always wanted to go down there to observe humans but you weren't allowed to.

Certain Angels weren't allowed to go down to Earth for many reasons and you happened to be one of them. Your job was to stay in Heaven and guard a certain sector of souls. You made sure they stayed in their Heaven and did what they were supposed to do.

Only recently were you allowed down to Earth and that was because Castiel was a good brother and pulled some strings. Now, you lived with him, Sam and Dean. You were still adjusting to human life and were thankful that everyone was so patient with you. Well, Sam was but Dean's was running thin.

"Interesting." You said, moving closer to Dean's face.

"Y/N, we really should go. If Dean wakes up, it's not going to go well." Castiel urged you again but you didn't listen to him.

"Oh, Castiel, I'm just learning. He won't wake up." You said but you were wrong. Dean's eyes fluttered open and when he saw how close you were to him, he reached under his pillow and took out his gun before pointing it at your face.

You were shocked he woke up but not shocked there was a gun in your face. It wouldn't harm you at all.

"What the hell are you two doing in here?" Dean breathed out before lowering his gun.

"I'm sorry, Dean, but she insisted." Castiel sighed.

"Did you have a good dream?" You asked with a smile.

"What?" Dean groaned, looking at the time.

"Humans dream when they sleep. Did you have a good one?"

"Oh yeah, it was full of rainbows and unicorns. It's 4 in the morning. Get the hell out." Dean glared.

"I'm sorry, Dean." Castiel apologized before taking your hand and pulling you out of his room.

"I do not understand. Why was Dean mad at us?" You asked.

"He doesn't like being woken up. He and Sam are different. Sam likes waking up early and Dean does not. In fact, Sam might be in the kitchen. Let's go."

"Why would he be in the kitchen?" You asked as you walked next to your brother.

"To eat."

"And humans like the taste of food? They don't taste the molecules?" You asked as you entered the kitchen. Castiel was right, Sam was in the kitchen, drinking coffee.

"They taste the flavors of food. Our taste buds are different from theirs." Castiel explained.

"Oh, interesting." You nodded. Sam looked up when he saw you and Castiel enter.

"Hey, what are you doing up?" Sam asked before he thought.

"We don't sleep, Samuel. We are Angels." You smiled.

"It's Sam, remember?" Sam chuckled.

"Yes, I must have forgotten. Forgive me."

"It's okay."

"What are you doing up? Why aren't you dreaming like your brother?" Sam chuckled at this but didn't comment on it.

"I go running every morning and I woke up a little earlier than I usually do so I'm going now."

"Can I come with you?" You asked, excited to do human things.

"Uh, if you want to."

"Great, let's go now." You smiled.

"I have to get dressed first." Sam smiled as he got up and placed his coffee mug in the sink.

"But you already have clothes on. Why would you need to change them?" You asked in confusion, tilting your head.

"These are my pajamas. Not my running clothes. I'll be right back." Sam smiled and left the kitchen.

"Humans are weird." You said and looked around the kitchen.

"Those were my thoughts when I first came down here. But I've grown accustomed to their ways. You will too, in time." Castiel assured you. Sam came back shortly after in different clothing and grabbed a water bottle from the fridge.

"Come with us, Castiel." You said with a smile and Castiel was going to object but seeing the smile on your face, he decided to say yes.

"Of course." He nodded and you and he followed Sam out of the Bunker.

"Try and keep up, yeah?" Sam smirked and took off running into the woods behind the bunker. You and Castiel stayed there, watching him leave before you turned to your brother.

"He knows that we can easily outrun him, right?"

"Yes, but this isn't a competition." Castiel started to run in the direction Sam did. You stayed in your spot for a few seconds before catching up with your brother. You bypassed him and ran to Sam before slowing down.

"Do you do this every day?" You asked Sam. He looked at you and nodded with a smile.

"Yes, I do."

"Why?"

"I want to stay in shape. This is how I do that."

"Why doesn't Dean do it with you?"

"He's doesn't like running or waking up in the morning." Sam laughed. Castiel caught up with you and Sam, running next to you.

"Yes, he yelled at me when he noticed us in his room. He even pointed his gun at me. It wouldn't have done any harm, though."

"You'll get used to our schedule," Sam panted. "It took Cas some time but he got the hang of it. I know you will too."

"Thank you, Sam," You smiled.

"Now, I'll race you back to the Bunker," Sam smirked and took off running, dodging the trees easily. You smirked at your brother before running faster and sprinting past Sam.

"Hey! That's not fair!" Sam yelled but you knew he had a smile on your face.

"Keep up Sam!" You giggled. You knew you would learn human ways and you would have fun trying.
