Characters: Dean x Reader, Their Daughter, mentions of Sam
                              Warnings: all the fluff
Summary: When you arrive back at the Bunker, what you see will melt your heart.
                              -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ever since you've had your first and only child, you've stopped hunting. It was hard at first because you knew Dean still had to go out with his brother while you stayed home with a newborn. Not having Dean around became stressful, and as the years went on, your daughter kept asking for her Daddy.
Just because you stopped hunting, didn't mean the world stopped needing you. It was why you had to let Sam and Dean continue hunting. They were never gone for long, but when they were, it got lonely.
When your daughter was first born, it was especially hard when you had to do everything yourself. You weren't a single parent, but sometimes it felt like it since you were doing 95% of the work. Dean would be too tired to help with his child, and you understood.
As Rachel got older, it got a little easier to take care of her, and when she started talking and walking, things got more entertaining. To give Dean some father/daughter time, you and he traded off every hunt. You'd go with Sam one hunt and Dean the next. Sometimes, you'd let Sam spent time with his niece while you and Dean went out on a hunt. It gave you two a break and some much-needed alone time.
Besides taking a break from hunting, having Dean bond with his daughter, it gave you time to run important errands, like food shopping. Things got done a lot quicker when Dean and Rachel weren't shoving things into your basket every aisle. Because of this crucial alone time, you got done more than you thought: food shopping, medicine pickup, and dry cleaning. When you became a mom, dry cleaning became your best friend. Before you couldn't afford it, but since moving into the Bunker, there are a lot of things you could afford.
Grabbing the last bag from the car, you walked into the kitchen from the garage, glad you got the last of the bags. Sam was out doing whatever it is he's doing, and Dean was somewhere in the Bunker with Rachel. Because you bought the items, it was Dean's job to put everything away. Going out food shopping and buying the items were no problem, it was putting them away, the thing you hated the most.
Setting your purse down by the coffee maker, you tried to listen for screaming, yelling, or any other kind of noise that would indicate trouble running amok. When you didn't hear anything, you wanted to go investigate. Leaving the kitchen, you walked through the library and to the hallway where yours and Dean's room was.
Peeking inside, you saw it was clean and empty, a sign you knew was trouble. Dean was a messy man by nature and having a 5-year-old didn't help either. You were about to check Rachel's room when you heard the music. Your daughter's favorite film was Tangled so you knew When Will My Life Begin by heart. Following the Disney tune, it led you all the way to a spare bedroom that wasn't in use.
Pushing the door open, you sneakily looked inside to see your daughter and husband in funky clothing, dancing to the soundtrack. Dean was decked out in a hot pink tutu, one of the white boas that you had for Halloween, star-shaped glasses, your daughter's barrettes clipped into his hair, and one of her gold tiaras perched on his head. Rachel kind of looked the same, but all her clothing was slightly too big for her since she stole some clothing from your closet.
Grinning, you took out your phone and began recording them, glad that you might use this as blackmail one day.
Seven a.m., the usual morning lineup
Start on the chores and sweep 'till the floor's all clean
Polish and wax, do laundry, and mop and shine up
Sweep again, and by then it's like 7:15
Mandy Moore's voice blared through the speakers, and Dean grabbed Rachel's hands before pulling her close to him. Immediately, they started dancing to the song, singing along to it at the top of their lungs. It was nice to see Dean bonding with his daughter this way. It made you think of when you were younger when you and your father had play dates together where you two would dress up in all kinds of funky clothing.
And so I'll read a book
                              Or maybe two or three
I'll add a few new paintings to my gallery
                              I'll play guitar and knit
                              And cook and basically
Just wonder when will my life begin?
Rachel sang the lyrics as she danced, squealing when Dean picked her up and spun her around. When he set her down, she zeroed in on the phone camera pointing to her.
"Mommy!!" she smiled in joy and ran over to you. Dean immediately blushed and quickly turned off the music, turning to face you.
"Having fun?" you asked, turning off the camera and picking Rachel up.
"We were just... you know..." Dean stuttered, taking off the tiara, glasses, and boa.
"Being a princess? I always thought you'd be Rapunzel," you teased, kissing Rachel's cheek.
"I thought you were going to be home later?" Dean tried to change the subject.
"I was, but without you two there, I got a lot more things done. Speaking of, the groceries are in the kitchen. You get to put them away," you smiled.
"Yes ma'am," Dean nodded. Nodding, you turned and walked out the door, but paused before sticking your head back in.
                              "Dean?"
                              "Yes, sweetheart?"
"Very nice tutu. Makes your butt look good," you grinned and Rachel laughed.
"Okay, you can go now," Dean said, a bit embarrassed by this.
"I love you," you sang as you left the room, wanting a little one-on-one with your daughter. Dean was many things, and a child at heart was one of them.
