"I think I know where we can get the answer to that!" Princess Peach said. "I didn't tell you before, but I found a room in this place that we haven't been in yet! I did go into it, but it was really dark and creepy in there and I heard a loud noise, so I freaked out and left it and I didn't tell you about it because I didn't want to go back in there!"

"That doesn't mean you shouldn't have told us about it before!" Wolf scolded Princess Peach.
"In that case, Peach, we're going in there to investigate!" Lesley said.
Peach had no choice, but to lead the others to the entrance of the room that she had never wanted to set food in again. Once there, Lesley opened the door and like Peach had said, it was dark in there indeed! Luckily, they had brought flashlights that they had also found in the power plant and that would help them find their way through the darkness.
Princess Peach, at first, had refused to go in there again, but when Lesley, Princess Zelda and Wolf went ahead without her, she reluctantly followed them inside anyway. She didn't want to be all alone either.
As the 4 girls went through the darkness, they found themselves going down a long flight of stairs. They then concluded that this room must be the power plant's basement, thus explaining why it was so dark in there.
