CHAPTER 10 CHOICES

Location: Cemetery. Somewhere in the (former) United Kingdom. Tuesday, August 24th, 3127. 12:00AM.

It was still exactly midnight and not a minute had passed for some odd and mysterious reason. Whether it had to do anything with The Keeper or not, was anyone's guess.

Nick, David, Charleton and Robert were all holding their glasses filled with poison and looking at the deadly liquid that was within them bitterly. "Go ahead, you assholes! Drink the stupid, damn poison so we can move on with our lives!" The Cartman hallucination told them.

Nick and his friends slowly began to raise their glasses closer to them and towards their faces! But before any of them could even take so much as a sip of the poison-filled glasses, they all heard a bunch of footsteps and the familiar voice of Norman close by!

"Stop!" Norman called out to them as he, Sammy the Bagel, the 3 humans from New Haven and Doctor Lollipop and Coco's group were all seen rushing over towards them from the entrance of the cemetery.

"Guys!? You're all okay!?" Nick cried out in surprise and relief.

The Keeper and all the hallucinations, however, weren't happy about this unexpected interruption and they didn't want Norman and the others with him interfering. Nick, David, Charleton, and Robert were so close to drinking the poison and ending their lives, but they knew that would change if they allowed Norman and the others to continue to disrupt 'The End Life Ritual' and they weren't going to let that happen!

The Keeper and all the hallucinations quickly moved to block Norman and the others' path to Nick and his friends and prevented them from getting any closer! Even though, only Nick, David, Charleton and Robert should've been the only ones who should've been able to see all the hallucinations of all those people and fictional characters that they have been seeing, this proved to not be the case as Norman and the others could all clearly see and hear them as well! Whatever was going on, it was pretty obvious by this point that these hallucinations that Nick and his friends had all been experiencing, weren't just hallucinations anymore! No! These hallucinations were now nothing short of sinister phantoms who were obsessed with one thing which was seeing Nick, David, Charleton and Robert all commit suicide and take their own lives!

"Hey! Get out of our way!" Norman yelled angrily at The Keeper and at the (former) hallucinations, now turned phantoms. "Our friends over there need us!"

"They are none of your concern!" The Keeper replied. "They are now in the middle of The End Life Ritual which is now their only option left to end the torment and pain of living their miserable and pointless existences where they can't help anyone, even themselves! They are failures and a disgrace to themselves and everyone they let down! That's why their lives must end now!"

"That's not true! You're insane!" Norman shot back.

"Then, tell me! Did they not fail to stop Mr. Anonymous from launching all those nuclear weapons at all those nations all those years ago!? Did they prevent the whole world from being turned into a barren wasteland before that madman known as The Emperor finally took over the world!? Have they managed to bring the monster behind all this pain and suffering to justice, huh!?" The Keeper spoke.
